What Is a Tournament Kit?

A Tournament Kit is a package of prize support and promotional material designed to support tournament play. Tournament Kits feature expanded prize support for players, including exclusive playmats, deck boxes, and promotional alternate art cards, as well as a guide to supporting a tournament series or a single tournament. Every Tournament Kit comes with prizes and information that you can use to run one or more tournaments, but the kit can also be used to support casual Game Nights, an ongoing league, or any alternative play format that suits your store best.

Each of our four LCG® Tournament Kits – A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Android: Netrunner The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, and Star Wars™: The Card Game – contain exclusive prizes for champions and participants, such as a playmat, newly designed card boxes, and variant versions of the game’s most popular cards. An instructional pamphlet helps you decide how to use the materials from your kit, while a promotional poster provides visibility in your store.

The Tournament Kit for the X-Wing miniatures game comes with one custom medal, two sets of collectible stress tokens and alternate art cards.

The Warhammer: Diskwars Tournament Kit includes collectible acrylic range rulers, alongside alternate art cards and card boxes for players.

What Is a Game Night Kit?

A Game Night Kit is a package of promotional materials designed to support cooperative play and build a community of players in a store. With a Game Night Kit, you can host a single table, challenge multiple groups sequentially, or even have a competition between groups. Game Night Kits for Descent include a new, fully cooperative scenario for the game, and Game Night Kits for The Lord of the Rings feature three new Nightmare Decks. All Game Night Kits offer prizes for the players to bring home, offering a great opportunity for players to access an adventure before its general release and meet new play groups.
