2017 Android: Netrunner Regional Championships

Following the Store Championship season, Regional Championships are bigger events that are designed to draw players in from a wide area and bring the competition to another level. These tournaments are the place to be for competitors who are hoping to make their path towards a National Championship or even the 2017 World Championship.

2017 Android: Netrunner™ Regional Championships run from May 13, 2017 to August 26, 2017. Find a location near you and prepare for your chance to compete for exclusive prizes, a bye at a National Championship, and a reserved seat at the 2017 World Championships!

• Top 64 – These players will receive a copy of the Ele ‘Smoke’ Scovak alternate art card. Stealth icebreakers can be extremely powerful and efficient tools, but are limited by the fact that you can only power them with resources from cards with the stealth subtypes. Smoke is here and can easily bring those tools to bear.
• ​Top 16 – These players will receive a set of acrylic credit tokens. Show off your credits with extra flair by winning a set of these tokens! You get five 1 credit tokens and five 3 credit tokens with this set!
• Top 8 – The top eight players will receive a playmat featuring the art from the card Find the Truth. 
• Top 4 – The top four players will receive a double-sided, plastic, spot-glossed Identity card featuring Jemison Aeronautics and Los, Data Hijacker.
• First Place – The winner will receive a colored trophy, a first round bye to a 2017 or 2018 Android: Netrunner National Championship, and a reserved seat at the 2017 Android: Netrunner World Championships.

 Limited Kit

A few select Regional Championships will offer their Swiss rounds on Saturday, and their elimination rounds on Sunday. For players who do not advance to the elimination rounds, and those who are knocked out from the elimination rounds, a side event featuring the new Cache Refresh format will offer an additional opportunity to enjoy Android: Netrunner. If you can't make it to one of these select Regional Championships, be on the lookout for other special events in your area featuring these prizes starting later this year!

• Top finishers recieve some amazing prizes! Each Limited Prize Kit comes with four sets of acrylic brain damage tokens. Each of these five tokens depicts you Runner's brain in a different state of damage, deteriorating as you suffer the dangers of running. It also includes one playmat with an amazing image from the game. Each of the select locations will recieve a number of kits based on its predicted attendance, so contact the organizer for further information.
• The winner of the Limited Kit event will receive an exclusive trophy!

Note: The alternate art cards in this kit are produced via FFG's In-House Manufacturing and may appear slightly different in color and texture from the game's other cards. To be tournament legal, these cards must be sleeved with opaque or art sleeves.
