Back in June, we opened registration for the 2015 World Championships. Within a few, short hours, many of the Championship events were sold out and players were clamoring for more seats. Today, we are happy to announce that along with opening up all unclaimed seats for U.S. Regional Champions for each game, we are expanding the seating for some of our most popular tournaments! Keep reading to learn how to register on August 17th, starting at 23:59 CDT (-6:00 GMT), and join us at the 2015 World Championships in November.

Please be Aware: We will not accept on-site registration this year. If you do not have a ticket by October 2nd, you will not be allowed to play in World Championship events.

More Seats

On August 17th, there will be a small number of tickets available for all of our World Championship tournaments. In addition, we will be adding a limited number of seats to the Android: Netrunner Championship, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Draft Championship, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Second Edition  War of Five Kings tournament, and X-Wing™ Championship! Note that the added number of seats is limited. While we are hoping to accommodate more players, tickets will still be in high demand, and it is likely not everyone will get into all of the tournaments they wish to compete in.

Registering for Your Tournaments

Registration starts on August 17th at 23:59 CDT. The process will be different than the registration process we used in June. Registration is now a single purchase, but players must register for each tournament individually. For example, if you want to register for the Android: Netrunner and A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Joust Championships, you must buy a ticket for each event one at a time. Each ticket will cost $60. However, any player that registers for more than one tournament can email us (including during the June registration window), and we will refund them $50 for each tournament beyond the first.

Getting Started

Start by going to the registration page at https://fantasyflightgames.thundertix.com/events and selecting which tournament you wish to register for. Be sure to register first for the tournament you most wish to attend! There is no guarantee any other events will be available after you have finished registering for the first tournament.

We recommend checking the 2015 World Championship schedule before registration begins to help plan your registration process.

On the next screen, double check that you have selected the correct ticket you wish to purchase and make sure you have selected a quantity of “1.” After selecting a quantity, a name field will appear. Fill out the name of the person who will be participating in the event before continuing.

Be aware that you will have only 7 minutes to fill out your payment information. Do not click on the “Continue” button until you have your credit card and address ready.

Enter your full name and email in the labeled fields, as well as credit card and billing information. Be sure to double check all of your information.

Important: Do not click on the “Confirm Order” button on the bottom of the screen until you have entered a T-shirt size! If you do not enter a T-shirt size, we cannot guarantee you will receive a shirt that fits. Finally, leave the box marked “Yes, please include me…” checked so that we can contact you via email with any important updates. We cannot guarantee you will receive timely information for World Championships if you uncheck this box.

Shortly after confirming your order, you should receive a confirmation email. Double check your order to make
sure you received the correct ticket. Then you will need to register for any additional tournaments using the
same process.

Side Events

All side events at the 2015 World Championships are free to anyone with a World Championship pass. If you have registered for at least one Championship event or the War of the Five Kings tournament, you can play in any of the side events. However, side events do have limited space, and entry will be limited to a first come, first served basis.

Note: Draft side events will require players to purchase their own product from the Fantasy Flight Games Center.

The final wave of tickets for the 2015 World Championships opens next Monday, August 17th, at 23:59 PM CDT. Tickets will be in high demand, and we recommend registering as soon as possible to guarantee your spot in the tournament(s) of your choice.
