The next expansion for Tide of Iron, the board game of Wold War II strategy, will be on sale soon. Fury of the Bear introduces the Soviet forces to the epic level combat of Tide of Iron, giving players many new options to recreate the historical battles of the Eastern Front.

Fury of the Bear introduces the Soviet forces to Tide of Iron, expanding the theater of war to the Eastern Front. In addition, Fury of the Bear will also offer exciting new mechanics, such as a combined strategy deck, a system of counter intelligence known as subversion, and all-new specialization types, letting you experience Tide of Iron in all new ways.

Tide of Iron is an epic board game of tactical WWII combat that grants 2-4 players control of either American or German military forces, pitting squads of fighting men and vehicles against each other in one of several scenarios.

Like everything shown here, boards look great, and glad to know they have summer on other side. Like the rules addtitions, especially ammo types. Glad to see some other AT guns. Still do not particularly like that model of the T34, because the turret is no where near what a T-34 turret looks like..sigh... but otherwise, Great job! Already had my game store on alert to order me FOTB, so looking forward to it.

So this is going to happen !! Great job on this extension ! Balkas, trenches and special ammunition will, no doubt about it, renew that already great game.
Now, I'll just have to ask the mailman about my delivery every single day I see him... Poor man.

Only 6 scenarios - quite disappointing after Normandy had 8.
Also, I was hoping for new figures - not tanks for the Germans, but I guess they didn't want to mess with the current balance.
Still, I will be interested in getting this to the table at some stage.

cool, it seems to be the expansion with the most new stuff so far... i especially like the ammunitions optional rule. but i hoped for more scenarios...
