As you can see from this week’s headline picture, we’re quite pleased to announce that The Radical’s Handbook has arrived in FFG’s warehouse and will be shipping out to a game store near you next week!
If there is one sentence you could use to describe what The Radical’s Handbook is all about, it is: “Turn the weapons of the enemy against him.”
Radical Inquisitors turn away from the path of the Puritan and rely upon tools that most of the Inquisition (and other organisations of the Imperium) consider blasphemous. Heretical allies, alien technologies, and daemon weapons of Chaos are but a few of these instruments chosen by Radicals who believe that the end always justifies the means.
This brand new sourcebook for Dark Heresy contains new rules, new (and dark!) background and career options, and forbidden gear. It is an excellent resource for both players and Game masters who wish to tread the forsaken path of the Radical.
Within the pages of this tome, you will find additional rules for sorcery, tainted psychic powers, and heretical technology developed by Radicals of the Calixis Sector.
Additionally, there is an in-depth discussion of the Radical factions of the Inquistion—including many brand-new factions found only in the Calixis Sector. There’s even a “most infamous Calixian Radicals” section, some of which was showcased in last week’s designer diary .
I am very excited to see this book arrive in the warehouse and I will be very much looking forward to seeing people enjoy either playing AS Radicals...or striving against their twisted plots!
