Axis & Allies PBeM Team Game Recruiting

There does not seem to have been many games starting up lately so I have decided to get two going fairly soon.

This is the first and it is a Team Game based on the old Axis & Allies Board Game and will be run on the FFG forums..
The second game will start up around the first week of August (Heavily varianted) and will be held on the wiki forums.

Depending on what you like in variants this one will have the least of what I have recently run. The tiles will be handed out for placement as a normal game and go clockwise from Germany (Letnev)

I am looking for 5 players who do not mind being paired up at random.
Axis Team
Germany - Letnev
Italy - Yssaril

Allies Team
USA/UK - Hacan
Vichy France - Saar
USSR - Sol

There are a few modifications to the Axis racial abilities to even out the 3 on 2 style of this game.
Sol has a boost in their GF production as well.

Objectives have been slightly altered to accommodate the team structure of the game.

The game looks very intersseting! To bad I'm in my game maxium at the moment, otherwise I would be the first to throw my hat into the ring!

Why did you choose to include France? Instead of keeping UK and the US seperate like in the boardgame. France was lost in WWII almost immediately.

My other option was to just name them Continental Europe instead of France. But there were still a lot of French and other mainland European nations in the fighting so for ease of resognition I went with France instead of Cont. Europe.

vichy was a puppet state created by the nazi regime after the armistice of june '40
just "France" would be fine, thank you
the historian in me could not stand to see "vichy" beside the allies

I never played a TI3 team play game, so I want to try it out.

How very wrong of me.

I have changed it to Maquis as the French Resistance was known in the rural areas and it seems to fit the traveling Saar better.
I do not know what I was thinking when I put the other down.

I am about to undergo the same treatment by the L1z1x it seems.

This looks like an interseting variant and i would like to be considered for a part.
