CV was extensively used for Critical Value in TTT and although IMHO it won't catch on in the forums YMMV.

Thank you. Since those were not immediately accessible from the FFG forums, that link will prove very useful. I'll integrate the major differences into my list above.

I always thought that QTF stood for Quite The Fuck... It means the same, at least!

I believe QTF was not deemed appropriate for inclusion over at BI's forums...

I wonder why the WFRP1 stuff is not worthy to be included in the list. SoB, DotR, PbtT, SRiK, EiF and alternatively EaW are often mentioned in WFRP forums. Likewise with RD, for instance.

And why is fanstuff disregarded? WS and StS deserve to be mentioned. CH used to be an important site, although less so now the forums closed - but you can still find a wealth of background information there.

Check the Liber Fanatica at http://www.liberfanatica.net.
And have a look at my WFRP site too, at http://homepage.mac.com/whymme/WFRP

You mean QFT? I've seen it mentioned as Quite Fucking True.

Whymme -- it is certainly not a matter if WFRP1 or fan material not being "worthy" -- it is indeed worthy and valuable information. I personally just did not have as much familiarity with them as I do the WFRP v2 content and terms to think of them off the top of my head to make the lists... And while they are referenced on occassion here on the forums, I don't believe they are referenced quite as often as the more contemporary acronyms and abbreviations...

To this end, however, you'll notice that I did include the link CapnZapp directed me to, which does go into another level of detail than the list I provided.

This is the Old BL Forum, is it not?

I only get a white page with a "access denied". This is since they closed the forum. How do I get access to it? Can anyone help me?

Works perfectly for me, and I can't imagine anyone but yourself can help: try clearing your browser cache and remove all cookies (related to the BI sites).

Btw, the link goes to the "new" BI forums, not the "old" BI forums...

Hmm, no. I had the idea that it stood for "Quoted for Truth". I did like the other explanation, though.

Thank you. If there are any more acronyms or abbreviations to add, please let me know, or PM me and I'll edit the initial post to include more... I'll let the v1 and previous acronyms remain via the link I provided in the original post -- for the purposes of this thread, I'm more interested in v2 and more common verbiage used going forward... however, please don't mistake that for discounting or devaluing any previous/other content!
