Hello one and all!

I just want to put a flag up for my The Thousand Thrones-blog.

The goal, ofcourse, is to keep updating it as often as possible as the play moves forward. It should be quite often since we tend to play once each week.

Very cool. I've read lots of reviews, but only one actual playtest. I'm really looking forward to following your blog and seeing how your experiences mesh with the reviews and the first playtest.

I definetly would allow a witch hunter-wannabe in my campaigns too - if only to give out the ultimate handout. Black Library's "The Witch hunter's handbook". It's THE element for WFRP by my point of view. Also "the Life of Sigmar" would seem like a "must have" for the player's of priest of Sigmar. IMO these kinds of hand books give the game much needed inside view and are excellent choices to give to players to read.

Hope your campaign goes well. Two zealous characters in the same group can couse a lot of problems. Not to mention an elf...

My players already have the books you mention And yes, they are great. It's as much a must as having the "Uplifiting Primer" if your gonna play Dark Heresy.

Im actually looking forward to playing with these characters, they actually have a great reason to follow the plot in TTT and not just go "Meh, why should we care?". And these players are great at playing such zealous characters.

Yes! I'm enyoying the exploitations of your group very much!

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in it's own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." - H.P. Do keep it up. It's an interesting read. I'll be starting TTT in a few weeks too, and I plan of putting up a similar blog, just to preserve the fun and perhaps compare how both parties did. It will probably be in Polish, though...

An enjoyable read, but you missed out the bit with the mutants in the sewers, which I was looking forward to.

They didn't get that encounter, only the moss/fungi and the poison wind globe.
I detested the mutant encounter anyway, in my WFRP mutants are evil through and through. (period) No missunderstood, poor muties with a heart of gold here, no Sir!
Or atleast, they will end up there. And since my players wholeheartely agree with this view, a diplomatic solution between them and mutants would not be an option, or atleast a very much disliked option.

As hey had a mutant encounter in the swamp, and the beast of Nurgle later in the sewers I pushed that mutant encounter to the side.

Hope you will like the rest though!

Just a quick de-lurk to say I just started reading your blog... good stuff.

I have been running Warhammer for about a year and a half now with the group all up around 3,500 to 4,000xp and just got Thosand Thrones... and the group is interested in starting new characters after we wind up the last part of our current adventure
