Thanks for all of your feedback! Whenever I think up a concept I always look for art that best fits it.
"Murder" Legendre: Well, I played him last night with Dracula, and I didn't think he was too underpowered! How powerful do you think? Servant of Glaaki tough or what?
Dracula: I wanted to convey the terror of Dracula awakening, and the ability seemed to fit, but I see your point. How about: "Start of Battle: All Investigators must Exhaust all of their equipment. They may only refresh one item per Upkeep phase." Changing his battle ability to: "if at least one investigator fails the check, add a doom token" does seem a bit more fair, after all, Dracula can't be at the throat of every investigator at once.

As a newcomer trying to create some content for my copy of Arkham Horror i think that both your posts are serious and look great! What methods do you guys use to find your artwork, specifically investigator pictures?

mavhunter: welcome to the creation! I usually surf the web (google image, mainly) until I find a 20's looking picture that seems to feet. I use character description. The ones I used for Louis/olive/wilhelm where found under "gentleman" "dancer" "vicar/priest", after many pages of images, but I'm very satisfied
Carcosannoble: as long as the contents are theme-fitting (as I said, Batman doesn't get my attention, no problem with him, but I'm not in interested) I will always give opinions, suggestions and/or compliments: I know what it means when nobody gives a word to you, either good or bad
About the herald: I understand that he was made to work with Dracula but as it is it would work only with him. I suggest bringing the toughness of Zombies to 3, giving them Nightmarish 1, then give him a try with a different goo

Mavhunter: Lets see... I wanted to use a Venetian Carnival costume for Nigel and using the CoC CCG King in Yellow art was my second choice. I looked long and hard for a picture for Nathaniel, but ended up finding that awesome picture with "19th century man." Dracula was easy, thats the only picture of him that fits in a horizontal space (its part of the cover for Dracula X Chronicles). "Murder" Legendre is one of my all time favorite villains and everything just fell together perfectly when I went from concept to product, which usually doesn't happen...
Geki: Thanks, I really appreciate your comments. Toughness 3 and Nightmarish 1 eh? I think I'll give it a try right now...

Give me some details, please. Where does he come from?

Very happy to help, if he works I would be glad to print him

After Bela Lugosi made Dracula, he was hired onto a film called White Zombie. Bela plays the devilish "Murder" Legendre, a plantation owner that uses zombies to operate his mills. Here's a synopsis from IMDB:
Young couple Madeleine and Neil are coaxed by acquaintance Monsieur Beaumont to get married on his Haitian plantation. Beaumont's motives are purely selfish as he makes every attempt to convince the beautiful young girl to run away with him. For help Beaumont turns to the devious Legendre, a man who runs his mill by mind controlling people he has turned into zombies. After Beaumont uses Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, he is dissatisfied with her emotionless being and wants her to be changed back. Legendre has no intention of doing this and he drugs Beaumont as well to add to his zombie collection. Meanwhile, grieving 'widower' Neil is convinced by a local priest that Madeleine may still be alive and he seeks her out. Written by Gary Jackson
Excitingly, they used the indoor castle set from Dracula for Legendre's own dilapidated castle.

In "The King in Yellow" ability, is X supposed to be equivalent to terror level? The way you worded, X will be set to be the terror only at the beginning of battle, so the -X/2 penalty would be not clear.

Easy fix, thanks for the catch though. Luck [-Terror Level/2]. I thought I was being crafty, should have been paying more attention.

minor details contribute to major works
anyway, I feel him to be a pasting of Hastur and the Dark Pharao, but I do prefere Hastur (the 8 clues sealing is awful)

Well, I've changed the ability a bit to be less Dark Pharaoh. Instead of the cursed Investigator losing Sanity, monsters at the same location as a cursed Investigator gain Ambush.

Actually, I must confess to have made Legendre first. So in reality, Dracula was made to work with Legendre.
