I actually printed some of their art on their site and put them on my walls in my game room, which is just a basement updated and fixed with lights, AC, pool table and TV.
I still buy magic for similar reasons (only singles though for .5 - .25 at the local store)
and just put them in a binder. Love the art in magic.

So "petit fils", literal translation "small son", means grandson? In English a "small son" would infer a preemie. Of course, a "petite son" in English has a whole different meaning - With a while different lifestyle!
Corrected the above.

I wonder if Field Ops will be set a few years before the events of Operation Tannhauser. After all Cerberus is said to be set in 1930's

I find it bizarre that ToY added the dates to some tokens, yet there has been no rulings for date specific items (at least in the English language version) ...

I guess we all want to know how these Campaign Packs will work
The only hint I know about them is on top of page 7 in the instruction manual. At one time there was another hint that the rules for the Campaign Packs were to be released when the organized play would launch back in spring 2007, but it never came.
I think it's pretty easy to guess how thes packs will work; if you faction has access to 3 items with the same date on them you can put them in a "legal" Pack that allow you to get your Special Equipement , something a Custom Pack wouldn't let you do.
Maybe there will be some added bonus but from what we have seen from John & Eva Winter Pack and Irina Spiritual Guide Pack, they usally don't replace the Special Item.

Who said I could afford it
I choose to spend what money I have on games, usually once every 6 months when I have cash a buy a few of them. I have very few other expanses other then food and rent, but on the other hand I have very few incomes.

Well, I'm sure that you can't use them in scenarios that take place before that date. Since we are seeing little pieces of the U-Chronic timeline, we could see scenarios before the invention of those items.

Picture in hands will be a playable card for Tannhaüser Field's Ops.
Field's Ops will not be a collectible card game.
You buy the game and you can play with it.
Maybe some extensions will be created.
Sounds awesome, for the moment.
Has there been any projected date for when this project will surface?

September 2008, in France. An extension with all the board game characters is slated for winter 2008 release.
The game is said to be set -after- the events of the board game, maybe in the 50's. The setting of the game is the D-Day on Bloody Mary beach.

Excellent. So we can hopefully see the English product next year, barring any miss-haps.
Just to be clear, this is the a new game in the Tannhauser world, not just an expansion pack? And it's a board game, not a card game (though, I would love a card game, I'm not tired of them yet).

Operation Tannhäuser is a board game.
Fields Ops is a non-collectible card game. It's planned release is September 2008.
Cerberus will be a Descent-like dungeon-crawl board game using much more miniatures than the original game. Planned release is rumored to be around 2010, at best at the end of 2009.

Ok. I got it now.
Thanks
I'll have to get my fill of Doom now and be ready for the other games when they come out. Especially for the Descent type game, that appeals to me.

Yup
From what I've heard you need to position your fingers at specific places on the "character" card to move or attack... As I haven't seen a demo yet I can't tell you more

Doc,
You're probably right I added the term "tactics" myself as it sounded correct given the description. The word "Dexterity" came up as the translation in all of the translators, so I left it in.

Have a look at the character card of James Curtis Edisson :
You see the three boots ? It's where you have to place your fingers. I don't know more.
