If anyone had any doubts about the reason for and use of the internet, this: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=T-TA57L0kuc should clear everything up!

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in it's own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." - H.P. Shit, Doc!
Fuck you! Just when I was about to say that this discussion was getting very interesting and RL relevant, you have to show up and screw up!

Besides, I'm the one who screw up serious topics 'round here.

ahuhuauhahuuhauh

But you are totally right. Internet is for porn. Maybe not FOR porn. But it's the biggest 'industry' on the web. And I won't complain =D

Actually in the case of Porn the internet is a good meduim because of the anonymity it provides.

Unfortnatly the anonymity also provides a medium for psychological disinhibition, which realy is the down side of the internet.

The other aspect thats a factor for the internet is some contries dont have IP restrictions at all, and its completly legal to do whatever you want with someone else's work.

Overall though I personaly think that the ability to communicate with like minded people all over the world.

Goddammit Loswaith, I had almost brought the topic down to the lowest level, and then you come and start to talk serious again!

But you are generally right in your observations, now, back to porn!

*Also, leaves the FFG Forums because suddenly, his attention is elsewhere*

I know these forums aren't moderated, but can I ask you to stop linking to porn sites on the WFRP forums?

Aww, poor Artaxerxes, can't find his own porn.

OK, the next thing isn't porn (unless you're really strange), but I was reminded of it by Moracai's link. It's hilarious and deeply disturbing at the same time:

Hmmm you have a point. If you're whacking off to that, not only are you extremely nerdy, you're the worlds biggest loser to boot.
