Creating and managing events

As a player, you can propose a gaming event at your local retailer, convention, or game club (provided the chosen organization has a Community Wizard account). To create a new event, follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. In the upper right corner of the main website (www.fantasyflightgames.com), click your username to access your profile screen.
  3. On the left sidebar, click the “Create New Event” link.
  4. The form on the page that appears will allow you to name your event, choose your game, select a date, and declare other pertinent details. Fill out this form.
  5. Click the “Submit Event” button in the lower right corner of the page.

Before your event can be finalized (allowing other users to register their attendance), the hosting organization must approve your proposal. A private message will automatically be sent to the selected venue. The manager of that venue can then approve, decline, or edit your event. In any case, you will receive a private message once the venue has responded. 


To edit your events while they are pending approval, follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. In the upper right corner of the main website (www.fantasyflightgames.com), click your username to access your Player Profile screen.
  3. On the left sidebar, click the “Awaiting Approval” link.
  4. Search the list for the event you wish to edit, and click the “Edit this event” link beneath the event’s details.
  5. The event request form will be displayed. Make your changes by filling out the appropriate fields.
  6. Click the “Modify Event” button in the lower right corner of the page.

Whether the venue manager approves, declines, or edits your event, you will receive a private message informing you of any developments. Assuming your event is approved, you can check its details and contact guests by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. In the upper right corner of the main website (www.fantasyflightgames.com), click your username to access your Player Profile screen.
  3. On the left sidebar, click the “Manage Events” link.
  4. Find the event you wish to view in the list of events, and click on the large arrow to the right of its details.
  5. From this screen, you can commit your own attendance by clicking the “I will attend” button. You can also send a mass private message to all attending players with the “PM Attending Players” button.
