The Fantasy Flight Media Center (FFMC) is a powerful, proven, interactive sales tool that constantly delivers media-rich content directly to your store. Purchasing games becomes an engaging, interactive experience for your customers with this addition to your Fantasy Flight Games display. This innovative device displays engaging promotional videos, how-to-play tutorials, an LCG card database, and more!
The FFMC has been designed with one purpose: to help you promote and sell more FFG products.
The FFMC is a proven sales device which functions almost like an additional employee who’s an expert on FFG’s products! The Fantasy Flight Media Center will help you sell games! Many FFMC retailers have noted an average sales increase of 35% since setting up the FFMC in their stores, and some stores have cited much higher increases!
The FFMC is also a tremendously effective tool for enhancing employee knowledge. The Media Center acts as a convenient resource for your employees to become more familiar with FFG products.
The most recent software update to the FFMC has provided a wealth of new features, most notably, the LCG Card Library, and the Card Sleeve Database!
With the Card Library for FFG’s Living Card Games, your staff and customers will be able to view the cards contained in every core set and expansion pack with a simple touch on the Media Center screen. The LCG Card Library will be consistently updated with each release, so your customers will always be able to find the cards they need to build their perfect deck!
The Card Sleeve Database is a helpful guide which allows your customers to determine the size and quantity of card sleeves they’ll need to protect their games! With our easy to use color-coded system, the card sleeve database delivers results for every FFG title, as well as many games from other publishers. Your customers will never have to wonder which size sleeves to buy again!
The attractive, custom-built chassis of the FFMC is home to the cutting-edge technology of an Apple iPad, with a high-definition, multi-touch screen. Along with mechanisms to keep itself locked, the FFMC can be bolted to your retail shelf for extra security. The Media Center is 12” x 12”, the size of an Arkham Horror box, and will fit perfectly on a retail shelf or amidst a product display!
To be considered for an FFMC placement in your store, you’ll need the following:
Q: Are there any direct cost to me?
A: Other than the points listed above, and the daily use of your electricity and WiFi connection, there’s no further cost to you.
Q: Who owns the FFMC Terminal?
A: FFG owns the device. It will be placed in your store as per the terms of the placement contract.
Q: If I agree to the above and sign the placement contract, will I qualify?
A: The FFMC devices are very expensive. FFG needs to ensure that you stock FFG products and that you have a good plan for the placement of the device. To this end, you’ll be asked to fill out an application form along with signing the placement contract.
Q: So, after I fill out the application form and sign the placement contract, then what?
A: Within 7 days of FFG receiving your application form and placement contract, you’ll be contacted by the FFG Sales Department. They will let you know whether you’ve qualified for the device. We’ll then inform your vendor of choice (designated in the placement contract) to expect your $600+ FFG restock order
Once we’ve confirmed that your restock order has been placed and shipped, your FFMC will be cleared to ship.
Q: When should I expect to have it in my store?
A: You can expect delivery of your FFMC within two to four weeks after the approval of your application.
Q: What if the device is stolen or harmed?
A: Other than normal wear and tear, you’re responsible for the safety of the terminal (as indicated in the placement contract). The replacement cost is $649. To help with security, the iPad is locked securely inside the chassis, and the chassis itself can be bolted to the retail shelf.
Q: How will you know I’m using the device for its intended purpose?
A: The device “checks in” with FFG multiple times every hour and automatically updates the content as needed. This check-in also allows us to ensure that the device is used appropriately within the terms of the placement contract.
If FFG determines a device is not used appropriately, or it fails to “check in” with us, we’ll contact you to help fix any problems. Ultimately, if the device is intentionally not exclusively used for the purpose agreed, FFG will have its terminal returned.
Q: Will I get help setting up the device? What if there’s technical trouble later on?
A: In addition to the instruction manual that comes with the device, FFG has full-time staff ready to help you with setup or any other issues that may arise during active use.
Q: What if, for any reason, I don’t like the device?
A: Contact Fantasy Flight Games and we’ll coordinate with UPS to pick up the device from your store, at no cost to you (Your required restock order, is, of course, non-refundable).
Q: What about international retailers?
A: We are happy to accept applications from international retailers.
Q: What are the physical dimensions of the device?
A: The FFMC terminal is roughly the same size as a copy of the Arkham Horror board game
Over 300 retailers worldwide are using the FFMC to sell more games. See what current FFMC retailers have to say about the Fantasy Flight Media Center:
“People go out of their way to tell us they saw games on the FFMC because of how cool and innovative it is.”
-Scott, Double Midnight Comics
“We keep our Fantasy Flight games surrounding our Media Center. There is nothing cooler than seeing a customer walk into the store and see a video playing about a new game they know nothing about. This cool device provides all sorts of advantages not offered by any other game company. It is a major leap forward in the development of game marketing. We even use it to train new employees on FFG titles.”
-Alexander, Chicagoland Games: Dice Dojo
“We have created a Fantasy Flight section, which helps gamers find exactly what they are looking for. We’ve had several customers look at a demo on the FFMC and want to buy the game based on that.”
-Heath, Cape Fear Games
“We were one of the first stores in the country to have the Fantasy Flight Media Center. It certainly receives a lot of attention! There have been many customers that have picked up a new game because they saw it being described on the Media Center. Also, when it shows trailers for games coming out soon it really helps buildexcitement for new releases. The Fantasy Flight Media Center has been a great addition to our store.”
Pat, Gnome Games
“The Fantasy Flight Media Center does a great job in matching customers with the game that suits them best.”
Gary, Black Diamond Games
“It has increased our board game sales monumentally.”
