What is Organized Play?
Organized Play (OP) helps players meet new opponents, find places to play the games they love, and join a world-wide gaming community.
Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play consists of four integrated levels of programs all directed toward these common goals. Ranging from our support for local Game Nights to the more competitive events that form our yearly tournament calendar, OP culminates in the inaugural FFG World Championship Weekend, when the best players from around the world gather to compete for the title of World Champion!

Game Nights
Game Nights are the basic building blocks upon which Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play is structured. At their core, our Organized Play programs all focus on the communities of players who meet to enjoy our games. Game Nights are the most elemental expression of this community, and they provide players a simple way to get involved with their local gaming communities year-round. Organizers of Game Nights can run them as casual leagues, informal open-play events, competitive leagues, or as one-day tournaments.
Organizers have complete freedom when they schedule these events, and we support them with Game Night Kits that retailers can order. We currently offer Game Night Kits for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, and Dust Tactics.
Visit our Game Night Kit information page for full details.

Regional Championships
Enthusiastic players looking to meet other fans and competitors outside of their local scene can find them at our Regional Championships. Regional Championships are structured, competitive events held at key locations worldwide. They run between April and June, forming an important part of our tournament calendar.
This year, players can compete for glory in Regional Championships for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, and Dust Tactics.
Winners of these prestigious events can claim more than mere glory; they boast exclusive prizes, and winners gain free entry to our FFG World Championship Weekend, along with a first-round bye.
Visit our Regional Championships information page for full details.

North American and European National Championships
Another step up from our Regional Championships, our North American and European National Championships are highly competitive, top-level events that draw participants from locations far and wide. These championship events feature unique, high-level prize support and provide players their final chance to win first-round byes and free entry to our FFG World Championship Weekend in November.
In 2012, we’re truly excited by the possibilities opening up for European National Champions! Our partners from France, Germany, and Spain are arranging to fly their national champions to Roseville, Minnesota, where they will receive free lodging as they compete at the FFG World Championship Weekend.
We have also been in conversation with partners from other nations, and we will update this list as it grows. Altogether, we think 2012 is a pretty exciting time to participate in the European National Championships!
Meanwhile, Gen Con Indy will play host to the 2012 North American Championships from August 16th-19th. Players will travel from great distances to compete in our tournaments for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, and Dust Tactics.
The top eight players from each North American Championship tournament win first-round byes and free entry at our FFG World Championship Weekend. Additionally, we’re continuing to offer Gen Con tournament winners the most imaginative prize in gaming; the North American Champion for each LCG wins the chance to work with our developers to design a card!

FFG World Championship Weekend
With the best players from North America and Europe, the FFG World Championship Weekend showcases the increasingly global perspective of our Organized Play program.
November 9th-11th, for the first time ever, players will converge from around the globe to participate in our World Championship tournaments for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, Dust Tactics. Each of these tournaments is open to the general public as well as pre-qualified champions, and participants at the FFG World Championships will be able to meet and compete against the world’s best players for each of our games.
This hallmark tournament weekend will also debut the World Championships for our two newest Organized Play games, Dust Warfare and X-Wing.

While the World Champions for our LCGs, Dust Tactics, and Dust Warfare will win prizes and gamer glory, they also win the chance to make lasting marks upon and shape the futures of their games.
Each LCG World Champion (including Melee, Joust, and Overall champions for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game) earns the right to work with our developers to design a card of his or her choice. Once finalized, these cards are added to the games’ normal pools of cards, and in this way, World Champions are able to influence the ways the games are played and are forever immortalized as champions.
Similarly, the World Champions for Dust Tactics and Dust Warfare win the ground-breaking opportunity to work with Paolo Parente and FFG’s developers to design a new miniature for their game. This prize is unparalleled in the miniatures gaming world! However, it gets better. Not only will the winners help create miniatures they can later use to rain death upon enemy forces, but Paolo Parente and Vincent Fontaine will personally paint one-of-a-kind versions of these miniatures which they will provide the winners!
