Uh oh! FFG is releasing a PDF version of Dark Heresy? Looks like another rpg is getting the axe. I’m not plopping down a $100 to play version 2 of this game either.

If they finish the lineup, this is fine. Having an official PDF of DH is nice.

Nojo509: if you have a Kindle 2, the latest Kindle update adds full support for them just like the DX. I've got a DX and the new update makes PDFs on that a bit nicer too. True though, a real Kindle format version would be awesome and I'd buy that instantly.

In fact, FFG, go Kindle with all your RPG books please! I will gladly rebuy them all in true Kindle format.

I have to say I think this move is overdue. In this day and age not having an available PDF version would be costing sales. I think the same thing re Rogue Trader.

Having said that though, unless I get a discount for already owning DH (and I won't) they won't be getting my money. I agree with paradiddlebob, they are usually massively overpriced considering their costs.

Its amazing how often sarcasm and cynicism are lost when translated from mind to forum posts. Fortunately,  I was trying to be sardonic!

I hate those pdfs, they're sooooo overpriced.

Oh no! My favourite game looks like it is getting dumped and a big box of useless tidbits is coming to replace it. : )

We haven't even gotten all of the Haarlock Trilogy yet, not to mention Ascension etc. Surely this game is selling well enough without an overly expensive and thoroughly useless revamp?

Call me cynical I suppose, but after the dogs breakfast they've made of WFRP I can see the same trend here and can only hope it's not going to be the case. Guess I'll be spending my money elsewhere if it does.

While I am certainly not arguing against having this material available as pdf (although I do like my big shiny hardback books) I have to agree with Mithras when I think that this is where the descent into WFRP 3E began and my heart, too, sinks at the thought of this going the same way.

you have a good point about the omen of the PDFs. DOOM! I say, DOOM!

Nah, I don't think DH has to worry about a redo. Dark Hersey actually sells. WFRP didn't. Well it did until Dark Heresy came out. DOH!

Dark Heresy did the same thing to WFRP that 40k did to Fantasy. It became very obvious down in the Orlando area that Sci-fi beats Fantasy anytime they compete for sales. Judging by the Space Hulk sales nation wide I think it is fair to say Orlando isn't the only case.

So, back to the point, I don't think you have to worry about a 2nd edition of Dark Heresy.

LOL. Oh god please no Dark Heresy version 2 coming up. O.O

Anyway, pretty handy. And seconding having this updated with the latest errata I hope? ;)

Still nice job FGG! :D

Cool. But as you said, Peacekeeper, the same selling off of the books in PDF form preceded WHFRP2's demise. My heart sank immediately when I saw this news. I REALLY hope that this is just a coincidence.

I would prefer it in Kindle format.

Will the PDF have full errata incuded (including Rogue Trader Changes)? Isnt this how the wave to WFRP 3E began? Shiver.

But, I will be getting it.

I was actually hoping for something like this. They can count on a sale from me!
