|Who Will Be the Melee Champion?
Announcing the latest Storyline League for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game
|A Game of Thrones LCG | Published 18 September 2009|
“The melee went on for three hours. Near forty men took part, freeriders and hedge knights and new-made squires in search of a reputation. They fought with blunted weapons in a chaos of mud and blood, small troops fighting together and then turning on each other as alliances formed and fractured, until only one man was left standing.”
—George R.R. Martin
When the dust settled and the smoke cleared, one warrior was the champion of the melee. He stood proud upon the field, remembering the foes he had vanquished in the contest. The spectators looked on and murmured amongst themselves as the warrior paused for suspense, not quite ready to remove his great helm. Who was this “mystery knight,” and which House did he support? The votes of the A Game of Thrones league participants will decide!
Fantasy Flight Games presents the second storyline campaign for the A Game of Thrones Living Card Game™. Determine which of the 6 Great Houses of Westeros will gain the services of the melee champion. If by Martell you mean Stark... :-P (of course, making him Stark would be an act completely devoid of Nedliness, but who cares? :-) )
Sweet... but an effect like this should be Martell... I'm just saying. :)
