@Bronn and other naysayers

You're pretty funny. Let's start a guerilla movement about a RPG game we haven't seen yet! Warhammer Libre!

Seriously... get a clue. I believe this will be an improvement over 2E, which is pretty flawed in my eyes (and I've played it for years).

Well, if I wasn't going to one penny on this before, they've done nothing to encourage me to now.  2E is dead!  Long live 2E!  The game will once again have to live on via message boards and fan sites.

A very comprehensive FAQ, say must I.

It clearly proves that FFG staff is closely monitoring the concens of their clients. Great job!

Woot second ed is dead. Now those player no longer need to even come to this site anymore. See you guys later. For those that don't want to just sit and complain. I woul dlike to offer an opportunity to get your names ou tin the industry so that you can make games for others to trash.

Even though I have never play 2nd ed in my entire life. I bought everybook except Lure of the Lich Lord. I plan on doing something along the lines that Paizo did. I read the core books last night. I was displeased, not at FFG, but BI. They seem to have a fetish for this Empire/Emperor thing.

THEY missed out BIG TIME.

I want to keep the same rules. The system is good. I want to change the direction of the campaign. Shame on BI for wanting this to be Hunt the witches and heretics only game.

Orcs are not the same as orcs in DND, they have  athriving history...but where was my Orc book? The War of the Beards ... where was it. Wood elves. even halflings..? Anyone?

Instead BI chose only human related stuff (BORING!!) Thats like saying "Hey lets play imagination, but we have to stick to the same boring human world we live and work in today...you know..corrupt gov't, war on evil, religious wars...etc"

I will take on this project because I have a huge love for warhammer, just not the role playing games setting. If you are interested and really want to make this game the right way let me know. The licease will end when the product ends. So possibly later down the road the stuff could get published.

Don't bother hating on me, I have my hate filter on. Sorry but I think those that feel FFG let them down should actually do something about it. You can hate and complain all you want but it won't bring the product back. So rebel, take what you have and get together. Shar eyour ideas. I would love to see a thriving community with a world it wants to play in and not just a wrold BI intended for them to play in.

Like I said. I am going to take the 2nd ed books th at I bought and combine it with the last 3 editions of the table top army manuals to make my own. Partly because I think BI missed a huge opportunity and also because I want to take on this project. I have had a few emails already from people that want me to do this. If you want to be in just let me know. [email protected]...or if you need to rant to me I will take those email to. I love to see hate mail.

Well, I've read the forums, I've watched the videos, I've read the FAQ. I'll be purchasing the boxed set, because I expect the artwork and the maps will be fantastic.  Our group, after looking at this, will keep on playing and enjoying WFRP 2E.

My God. The bitching and moaning that you have to sift through in a gaming forum is tiring. Listen. If you don't like it don't buy it.  The past versions you are lamenting can still be played.  This is starting to remind me of the 4e/3.5e whining. Go play 1st edition "whatever", just go and game and have fun.

Not very enlightening, nor very encouraging.

The FAQ was mostly to assuage the doubts of the ones who had an internet-spasm the last few weeks. As usual, FFG games look to have great components and be well designed.

MagnusSeter, the core book is still available at Borders, if you're near one you could wait until they send a nice coupon, which they do every couple of weeks.

PDFs avaliable for a limited time only? I'd better get off my arse and get at least the core rulebook then!

Definitely more marketing and PR than FAQ.

Nice way to hide the "no more 2nd ed product including reprints" way at the end. Thanks. More reason not to buy this heresy of a game.
