Radical Visions Part 1 13
The first art preview for The Radical's Handbook
Dark Heresy | Published 17 June 2009

Greetings Dark Heresy fans!

This week, I am very excited to show off some of the interior artwork for The Radical’s Handbook. This upcoming sourcebook for Dark Heresy showcases the factions of the Inquisition that believe in using means and methods normally considered anathema by typical Imperial standards. (All of the following images were created by Imaginary Friends Studios)

First, we have the Penal Legionnaire!

Second, we have an image of a Hive Mutant!

Third, we have the mysterious and deadly Maletek Stalker!

Fourth, we have an image of the Istvaanian faction of the Inquisition.

Last, we have an image of what happens when the nobility of the Imperium succumb to the lure of the alien, having sampled the forbidden fruit of xenos rites and technology.

The Next Step
Keep your eyes on this space, for next time I will present part two of the art preview for The Radical’s Handbook. Until then, may the light of the Golden Throne show you the way.

Dark Heresy is a roleplaying game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the grim darkness of the far future. Players take on the roles of Acolytes serving the Inquisition, rooting out heresy and corruption from within the galaxy-spanning Imperium of Man.

As usual, I am quite impressed by the wonderful art being produced for this RPG series of books. I am very much looking forward to seeing the completed product in all its dark glory.

I have no willpower versus Dark Heresy books.  Always make the mistake of looking inside them, even if I don't think I need them, and then I have to buy them.

The noble is pure genius.

With the kind of previews you do, I could pay for the rest of 40k line in advance without even knowing the titles and still be sure of well invested money.

That is amazing the last image is going to be plastered to my wall.  What is even more amazing FF, you guys rule but um.... it helps to mention the artist's names.  They kinda did the work eh, or is that too Puritan in thought?

Opps... noble seems to of gotten a little attached to his Halo device.... oh well easily done.

Is this gonna be a players or gm book....It might kinda have a few spoilers?

stopping players dribbling all over the forbidden pleasures is gonna be soooooo hard!

When I saw the image of the corrupt noble, I literally said aloud: "Oh my god!"

You are truly bringing the horrors of the Imperium to life. I love how dangerous the Maletek Stalker looks. And the hive mutant looks so sweet and unhuman. Ahh!  :O

Great artworks! Especially the istvaanian and the ugly noble ^^

Maybe it could be a good idea to gather every of the awesome works that be made since the release of the DH books. A kind of portfolio or even a calendar!
