+++Incoming Astropathic Transmission+++
Greetings, Dark Heresy fans! This week I am excited to talk about the Haarlock’s Legacy Trilogy, a set of three epic adventures for Dark Heresy. The first book in this trilogy is titled Tattered Fates, and it involves an investigation into dark dealings on the pleasure planet of Quaddis.
Tattered Fates features some truly bizarre and different non-player characters, such as the mysterious Heron Mask (featured on the cover below) and the awesome power of the Widower.
Portions of the adventure take place in the Undercity of the Red Cages, a labyrinthine region of industrial nightmare.
The Great City of Xicarph also figures prominently, including the Festival of Tattered Fate, wherein Acolytes must investigate the bizarre goings-on at the estate of the infamous Haarlock dynasty.
The Acolytes must discover the secret of the Haarlock’s Legacy before the Steel Clock strikes the 13th Hour. The fate of Quaddis—and potentially the entire sector—is at stake!
+++The Next Step+++
Keep an eye on this space for more upcoming news and previews of Tattered Fates! I have so many things to choose from...hmm, perhaps a look at the Gazeteer for Quaddis? A glimpse of the Red Cages or the Widower? Let me know in the comments section what you, the fans, would like to see in the upcoming preview!
Until next time, may the light of the Golden Throne guide your way...
I would also agree with the requests for a release date, and for more information on Quaddis. That type of info is useful for more seamlessly incorporating the adventure and its setting into our campaigns ahead of time.
More on the city, as background information wont ruin adventure aspects like stats would.
But how about a release date?
Waiting eagerly to begin the adventure in the back of Dark Disciples, which deals with Haarlock, as I understand. I think anything dealing with Haarlock will breathe more life into the Calaxis Sector, and therefore my enjoyment of Dark Heresy.
Never been an RPG player but Dark Heresy has such a cool background, fantastic art and very workable rules. Keep the expansions coming, excellent stuff.
Nice. Looks good. I'll join the chorus interested in more info on Quaddis. Perhaps a downloadable short intro adventure which would ease the transition to prep groups for the new locations?
Superb artwork on this amazing RPG line.
Excellent, atmospheric B&W art. Get that guy to do WFRP artwork too!
This sounds great and looks even better! I'd like to hear more on the Red Cages, being a fan of Necromunda.
Looks great. I second Nerd Kings request for more on Quaddis, so that we can start moving our Dark Heresy game to Quaddis so we're all set and ready to go when this comes out. Very nicely done all.
Very very cool guys
Fantastic! Thanks for this brief taster - I vote for more on Quaddis - those illustartions are very evocative and I'm eager to learn more.
