|Allied and SSU Forces Collide!
Three New Allied and SSU Units Are Now Available

Specialist Grigory Ivanovich stood in the window, overlooking the banks of the Caspian Sea with his binoculars. The sharp notes of Axis gunfire rattled through the distant streets behind him, punctuated by the intermittent roar of cannons, but he was more interested in the large, dark shapes he saw moving across the waters. “Piotr, get to the radio,” he called to his partner. “Call a strike. Allied walkers are coming by sea.”
The battles of Dust Tactics have only raged hotter and hotter since Operation “Zverograd” marked the introduction of the Sino-Soviet Union. Now, three new units have arrived to contest the streets of the war-torn city of Zverograd. The MCW M3 Expansion, SSU Specialists Expansion, and SSU Rifle Squad Expansion are now available at your local retailer and online through our webstore!
A Walker That Can Swim
The Allies gain tremendous strategic advantages with the new medium walker they deployed to the banks of the Caspian Sea.
The MCW M3 can be configured as either the Cobra, with a large Phaser cannon, or the Rattler, which can hold back aircraft and infantry alike with its twin 40 mm and Superior Reactive Fire. Both configurations of this medium walker feature tremendous combat mobility due to their Jump skill, and for very little additional resources they can be further upgraded to gain the Amphibious quality, allowing them to move across water as easily as they move across land!
Call Your Shots
As the SSU forces respond to the new tactical challenges posed by the game’s first Amphibious walkers, they rely upon their Observer and Sniper teams to take the first shots and to make them count.
The SSU Specialist Expansion includes both the SSU Observer Team and the SSU Sniper Team. Each of these two-man units excels at exploiting opponents’ vulnerabilities, striking at key targets from a distance. The SSU Observer Team uses their Artillery Strike skill to find and relay the positions of vulnerable targets to the SSU’s biggest and most destructive guns, and the SSU Sniper Team softens enemy squads with their Widowmaker rifles and the ability to select their targets.
Playing the Long Odds
The soldiers of the SSU Rifle Squad gain great advantage from the long range of their rifles. Two members carry Widowmaker rifles capable of ripping through the hides of Axis Gorillas and Axis Zombies, punching through battle armor of Allied heroes, and even puncturing the hulls of medium walkers, all from six range. Given a clear line of fire, these SSU soldiers can wreak havoc on enemy squads as they try to maneuver across the battlefield.
The members of the SSU Rifle Squad pack a wallop at close range, too, with their PPSh-48, plus their knives and grenades. Embodying the survivalist spirit of the SSU, the Rifle Squad demonstrates why the city of Zverograd still stands, even after repeated Axis and Allied assaults!
Bolster Your Army
While Axis, Allied, and SSU armies all war to seize control of whatever territory they can manage in Zverograd – a block, a street, or even a pile of stone that can provide solid cover – these three new units bring new abilities to savvy commanders. How will you make strategic and tactical use of their weapons and skills?
