Likewise are there dread survivals of things older and more potent than man; things that have blasphemously straggled down through the aeons to ages never meant for them; monstrous entities that have lain sleeping endlessly in incredible crypts and remote caverns, outside the laws of reason and causation, and ready to be waked by such blasphemers as shall know their dark forbidden signs and furtive passwords.
– H.P. Lovecraft and William Lumley, "The Diary of Alonzo Typer"
Earlier this week, we warned you of horrifying otherworldly gates opening in the vicinity of iPhone and iPod touch owners, drawing them into other worlds for hours on end. Now, this phenomenon has spread! Elder Sign: Omens, the digital application based on Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson’s popular dice game, is now available for your Android, iPad, and Mac OS X device (in addition to your iPhone and iPod touch). Click the applicable link below to begin your download and experience the horrors of the museum.

Elder Sign: Omens allows players to build the perfect team of up to four intrepid investigators as they work to prevent the emergence of Azathoth, the demon god of the unnamable void. His arrival will surely spell the end of human existence, but if you can use your investigators’ skills wisely, you’ll stave off destruction. All sixteen of Elder Sign’s unique investigators stand ready to face these otherworldly horrors; control any number of them in your own solo game, or “pass and play” with your friends. To whet your appetite, we’ve put together this brief video overview:

You can also view it on YouTube.
But remember, while Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience:
Can you stand against the impending arrival of Azathoth? Download Elder Sign: Omens today!
Elder Sign: Omens is a digital device application that lets you recreate the horrifying tension of Elder Sign wherever you go. Pass and play with up to three of your friends, or try to best your previous attempts with the detailed scoring system. With Elder Sign: Omens, there’s no escaping the horrors of the Ancient Ones.
The added challenges though seems to diminish the game play (no final fight), but helps the player finish the game, and adds replay value. (best Android purchase)!
Just downloaded Omens on my Asus Transformer and it works like a charm. No more boring travels to and from work. Thanks, Fantasy Flight, love this!
hmm sorry mb I should be more specific... what I wrote is valid for Samsung Galaxy S. I played 3 games since and it works perfectly...
het2cz writed about samsung galaxy but I have samsung galaxy ace with android 2.3.3 and that game don't work.
People, if you have failed the adventure click the header at top center and it will give you the option to quit and take consequence rather than roll for naught. I mentioned this below, but I suppose these are more meant for speaking and not listening, even in for an answer to your own question.
I suppose, a discount-option for multi-platform-users is not doable, right?
I have to say, after playing this a few times with my wife, I'm really glad I bought this. I was excited about it when I first read of it, and though I was sad it wasn't released for Android right away I'm glad it didn't take long.
I think I found my favorite time killer!
Bought on Macbook Air and works fine.
I have only one non sense registered. Why should I try to beat challenge when I don't even have so much Dices to try? I mean, How could I even beat it if I don't have any item to help me. It should end automatically in moment where is no possibility to beat it. Pls repair this "bug".
Oh! And works great on my htc Sensation 4G
@Duncan- You have a fail option by clicking the banner at the top of the screen. You don't have to keep rolling if you know you can't win.
Loving this app. Keep it up FFG!!! Thanks for bringing something to Android!
Is there going to be updates to have the other Ancient Ones? the reason I ask is because I noticed while it was downloading the cache files there were files for the other ancient ones ie. Cthluhu, Hastor, etc so that peeked my interest.
For all of you with Samsung Galaxy a good news - after two hours or so I managed to get it working... What I did is that I updated Android OS from 2.2 to version 2.3.3 through Samsung Kies (do not forget to backup everything before you do this). After that you will see Elder SIgn on Android Market and will be able to buy it. In case you have problems with the installation clear cache for the Market and if even this does not help (my case) remove all Market updates (you can install them back once you install Elder Sign). Now I am going to play the game and hope this it wil be worth those 2 hours I spent with this:) Hope this will help you guys - good luck...
