Rune Age is a deck-building game of adventure and conquest for 2-4 players. Set in the fantasy realm of Terrinoth (Runebound, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, Runewars, and DungeonQuest), Rune Age puts players in control of one of four races, vying for dominance in a world embroiled in conflict.
Influence spend to optimise the following turn's hand is just another example of the brilliant innovations in this game.
Seriously, it's like you played all the deck builders on the market and worked out exactly what they weren't doing right and built a game around those concepts.
It's still a must buy :)
I gotta admit...the video tutorial sold me. Great, great, great job FFG!
One question - which sleeves fit this game?
You know, I wasn't all that excited about Rune Age when it was first announced and pretty much had blown it off, but I think I've done a 180 as I'm really pumped, especially after this video tutorial, to get my copy in the next few days. :D
Also noticed how at the end of the video they specifically mention additional scenarios and expansions. Looks like we can definitely expect to see more goodness for Rune Age.
Nicely done! Can you do a vids for Death Angel now?
