The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a cooperative card game that puts 1-2 players (or up to four with an additional Core Set) in control of the most powerful characters and artifacts of Middle-earth. Players will select heroes, gather allies, acquire artifacts, and coordinate their efforts to face Middle-earth’s most dangerous fiends. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Adventure Pack expansions to the core game.

Played a four player game at Pegasus today in Madison WI. We had an incredible game. Twice during the game we were on the verge of breaking the game open only to be set back by shaddow effects and/or treachery cards. With great teamwork we clawed back and won. Gollum is a great expansion and there are some pretty nasty encounter cards in there, but that just makes the victory even sweeter.
On a side note, I'm really glad we won because one person in our group drove 120 miles to get to the event.

Well that sucked. Just drove out to Comic Madness in Plano, Tx and no such event. I REALLY hope some guy at the store didn't just want the cards quicker for him and his buddies!

For the European sites everyone links to a site showing the pre release events. Except the UK one. Esdevium are terrible at this sort of thing.
FFG please find another distributor who can do your products proud. Esdevium don't push FFG stuff to the retailers and the half assed link above is the best you ever get out of them.
I have tried calling them before and the best they can do is suggest you call a store and ask them to call them.
Totally useless. So this is an event I won't be going to because the distributor is rubbish.
Seriously why don't you see about joining up with Games Workshop to sell you stuff in the UK?
