An inherently visual and deeply imaginative game, Dust Tactics was originally inspired by the art of Paolo Parente. Many of you have labored over its masterfully sculpted miniatures to more fully imagine each story. We want to see your best work. Submit your entries to the Dust Tactics miniatures painting contest!
Take Your Best Shot!
Recently, we concluded a well received painting tutorial series, featuring the work of Jóse Brito. Whether you were inspired by Jóse’s camouflaged and weathered walkers or simply wish to show off your best work, the Dust Tactics miniatures painting contest is your chance. Contestants can submit to both of two categories, which will be judged independently–best walker and best squad.
Here are the rules:
“I certify that I am the creator of the attached material and that attached material is original, unpublished work. Fantasy Flight Games and its licensees may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works, and otherwise use the material for any purposes in any form and on any media. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fantasy Flight Games against all claims, suits, costs, damages, and expenses that may be incurred in connection with the material.”
Our panel of judges will select a winner based on technique, style, neatness, general aesthetic, and faithfulness to the theme of brutal combat in the most inhospitable regions of an alternate 1940s reality. We’ll announce the winners of each category on July 8th, and those lucky fans will each receive prizes based on their category as well as the chance to have their work featured on Fantasy Flight Games media centers across the globe.
