“Tell them that you have always dreamed that one day you might be allowed to wear the chain and serve the greater good, that service is the highest honor, and obedience the highest virtue.”
-A Feast for Crows, George R. R. Martin

To don the chain
This intriguing Chapter Pack, comprised of 60 never-before-seen cards (3 copies each of 20 unique cards), will serve your House well. Forging the Chain expands each House’s specialties with advantageous cards and abilities, such as more Clansmen cards for House Lannister, more search abilities for House Stark, shadow strength for House Targaryen, and more.
Maesters have chosen sides in the struggle to bring peace to Westeros, leaving them vulnerable to perilous reprisal. Your opponents may attempt to hinder your Maester characters with a detrimental attachment, such as Milk of the Poppy. Events such as Called by the Citadel will allow you to protect your Maester characters by removing such an attachment.
Visit your local retailer and pick up a copy of Forging the Chain today. Then prepare to wage war in the Seven Kingdoms with your powerful Maesters!
Based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling fantasy epic A Song of Ice and Fire, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, playable by 2-4 players, brings the beloved heroes, villains, locations, and events of the world of Westeros to life through innovative game mechanics and the highly strategic game play. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Chapter Pack expansions to the core game.
I agree, it would be significantly more useful if it applied to all Maesters and not only a Maester you control.
Why limit this to only characters you control? Would be a lot more versatile if you could target any Maester with this.
I like the art.
