On Monday, we announced the upcoming Hunt for Gollum Preview Event, an opportunity for retailers to offer a sneak peek at the upcoming first Adventure Pack for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. Today, we're pleased to announce that the hunt has expanded! Retailers in France and the United Kingdom (in addition to the countries previously offered) can now contact their country's FFG distribution partner to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

June 10th-12th, retailers are invited to host exclusive preview events at their stores, showcasing full versions of the upcoming Hunt for Gollum Adventure Pack. All of the details can be found on our Hunt for Gollum Preview Event page, or by contacting one of the participating distributors below.

U.S Retailers:

1. If you're a U.S. retailer, fill out our online application (retailers in Canada, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, or the UK should contact one of the distribution partners listed above). Be sure to apply by May 27th.
2. We will confirm receipt of your application by email, and if you are approved to host the event, we will send you instructions for ordering the The Hunt for Gollum Preview Event Kit from our B2B store. Don’t have a B2B account? U.S. retailers should contact Scott Clifton at sclifton@fantasyflightgames.com.
3. We will email you several high resolution images, which you can use to promote your event beginning immediately.
4. On May 27th, we will stop accepting applications. On May 31st, we will list the participating venues here on our website.
5. You will receive your Hunt for Gollum Preview Event Kit in plenty of time to run your event, June 10th-12th.

Then what happens?

The Hunt for Gollum Preview Event Kit includes three copies of The Hunt for Gollum Adventure Pack, allowing you to accommodate multiple tables simultaneously embarking on its challenging new quest. You’ll also receive a full color poster promoting the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle. The complete Hunt for Gollum Preview Event Kit will be available through our B2B store for only $24, plus shipping. Please note that you must have at least one copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game Core Set in order to run demos.

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a cooperative card game that puts 1-2 players (or up to four with an additional Core Set) in control of the most powerful characters and artifacts of Middle-earth. Players will select heroes, gather allies, acquire artifacts, and coordinate their efforts to face Middle-earth’s most dangerous fiends. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Adventure Pack expansions to the core game.
