Announcing the upcoming release of new art sleeves from Fantasy Flight Supply |
| Fantasy Flight Supply | Published 04 May 2011 | Rating | 34 votes |
Last month, we announced the upcoming release of our stunning Lord of the Rings Art Sleeves, and the response was enthusiastically positive. Keeping this momentum going, Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce even more stunning additions to our Fantasy Flight Supply line, with six new sleeves coming in the third quarter of 2011!
An attractive way to protect your LCG, CCG, and other standard-sized cards (card size: 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”), these Art Sleeves feature art pieces from a range of our most popular board and card games.
Durable and Stylish
Coming in the third quarter of 2011, Fantasy Flight Supply Art Sleeves will keep your cards safe in style. They’re made of clear, 100 micron-thick, non-PVC, acid-free polypropylene plastic, meaning that the sleeves are durable and free of chemicals that will corrode the cards within. The sleeves are also designed to fit cards snugly, making shuffling and handling easy.

OMG! OMG! I need those! I NEED ALL OF THEM! *Hyperventilates*
Jhaelen - So what? I don't play CoC, and that doesn't stop me from happily using my Cthulhu Rising sleeves for my Thrones decks. The art is just so awesome. And that new Cthulhu up there is seriously calling me. NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD! NOOO!!! Must...buy...sleeves...must...buy...sleeves...
I'll give another "thumb" for gdotbat's remark. i don't really have the $$$ to be so specific for my card sleeves, but would buy "generic" house sigil sleeves in a heartbeat.
(even though I'll freely admit the GoT sleeves here are very cool...)
WARHAMMER INVASION!!!! Come on guys!

I share this belief as well.
But it is odd considering how closely FFG and GW seem to be working together on titles.
But then again, this IS GW we are talking about.
If they do not have absolute control over nearly every aspect of their IP, then they simply wouldn't be GW.
Just because you don't play a game doesn't mean you can't use the sleeves. I was using the MTG Chandra Nalaar sleeves for my Asshai deck as it was a chick with red hair and fire so it seemed appropriate now I will use the Melisandre ones. As for LotR they are getting a whole wack of sleeves this summer and there is one for a character from pretty much every sphere as well as some good ones for enemies so I don't see any need for more LotR ones.
These are all pretty awesome. Too bad I don't play AgoT - Michael Komarck's character portraits rock.
I'll probably get a bunch with the 'Rituals of the Order' motive for my CoC decks, though.
I firmly believe that that there is some licensing issue between FFG and games Workshop preventing W:I sleeves. Simply because this IS a no-brainer, and we still haven't seen any Warhammer-themed sleeves. It would be great if FFG was working with GW to create some (heck, I'd love to have some Blood Bowl sleeves, especially if the deckbuilder game ever comes out), but at this point we can only conjecture.
gdotbat's post is full of wisdom.
I have to completely agree with gdotbat.
Sleeves with factions for W:I would be an instant purchase for me.
just give me some sleeves with the HBO house sigils
Yay Melisandre sleeves for my Asshai deck. And Jon Snow for my Stark's.
Best Melisandre art ever. Holy cow!!
