The legend of the minotaur has existed for generations, inspiring tales of both wonder and horror. However, recent developments in the war have ignited a regenerating interest in the ancient and arcane. Many expeditions have been led into the depths of the Labyrinth of Minos in search of this fabled creature of immeasurable power. Unfortunately, none have survived the trials of the labyrinth, and the minotaur remains, fettered yet uncontrolled...
The time has come to venture down into the depths of the Labyrinth of Minos in search of the imprisoned minotaur Asteros. Grab your flashguns and rally your team, the mission starts now!
Daedalus features a colorful double-sided board that introduces two new maps for your Tannhäuser games. On one side is the twisting passages of the Labyrinth of Minos, the ancient prison of the minotaur Asteros. In the center of this confounding maze lies a beast of unspeakable power, and his loyalty could mean a massive shift in course of the war.
The other side of this durable board is the French outpost of Gévaudan, which is the location of a mysterious slaughter. A once-strong reconnaissance station that fueled the Union with discrete intel on the Reich’s actions has now fallen to ruin. After weeks of no communication, a small force of Union troops have been sent in to investigate. However, other parties have invested interest in this location, as rumors of a vicious beast become more and more widespread...
Both of these new maps feature the Pathfinding system, with all new circle types that can either help or hinder your squad members. Also packed with new tokens and an included campaign, Daedalus is sure to raise your Tannhäuser games to a whole new level!
Tannhäuser is a squad based tactical board game set in an alternate timeline in which WWI has never ended. The forces of the Reich have turned to the occult, while the forces of the Union have delved into alien technology and developed deadly weapons of war. Using the revolutionary Path-Finding System, Tannhäuser is quick and easy to play.
I am glad to see that the expansions keep coming.
I'm hopeing we see a "revised box" or "delux edition" by the end of 2011.
I hope that somewhere in 2012, when the current core set and novgorod expansions are sold out FFG will release a revised and expanded box with a corrected Revised Rulebook and the Equipment Cards already included.
Just got mine! Very interesting map layouts, and the branching scenarios are a fun new twist on the existing gameplay.
Just put the order in.
Yeah, I just bought it off of Amazon the other day. My copy came with the revised core rule book.
YES! This is the final push I needed to go buy the core game.
No offense FFG, but I don't want to pay more than I have to...
So does anyone know if the version Amazon.com is selling contains the Revised Rules?
