Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the next exciting Chapter Pack for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Gates of the Citadel! This first pack in the Secrets of Oldtown cycle introduces the Maesters of the Citadel in force to the A Game of Thrones metagame, bringing a wealth of challenging cross-House synergy based on Maesters and Chains.
Check out “Chained and Sworn” an article previewing this upcoming cycle and including insights by A Game of Thrones' lead designer, Nate French.
Gates of the Citadel is the first monthly installment of 60 fixed cards (3 copies each of 20 unique cards) for the Secrets of Oldtown expansion to A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. This winter, forge your first link...
Based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling fantasy epic A Song of Ice and Fire, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, playable by 2-4 players, brings the beloved heroes, villains, locations, and events of the world of Westeros to life through innovative game mechanics and the highly strategic game play. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Chapter Pack expansions to the core game.
After seeing this, I really like the agenda - even with three of these non-Maester attachments you are thinning your deck and getting a bonus out of winning challenges.
I am not too sure about this new set...
very stoked to see the laughing storm
