A Wealth of Options
The Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Core Set remains the single most comprehensive entry point (as well as one of the best values in hobby gaming) for new players and GMs, and it’s best suited for a group of four players – one Game Master and three Player Characters. Guides are hardcover books that compile rules, charts, and reference materials into one convenient volume. The Player’s Vault is packed full of components, making it a great option for players wanting to jump into an existing campaign with their own materials. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a roleplaying game that sets unlikely heroes on the road to perilous adventure, in the grim setting of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Players will venture into the dark corners of the Empire, guided by luck and Fate, and challenge the threats that others cannot or will not face.
Great to see these all coming out at once with no mucking about. While we've really been enjoying the new system, more clarity and explanation is definitely welcomed as it can be somewhat confusing in places. I'm also looking forward to my players getting a Player's Guide each so they can reference everything they need to make their career choices.
Oh, by the way, absolutely love the creature vault. Mainly because it has creature cards which I have wanted since it first came out. And the creature guide is helpful and interesting too, lots of little tips that I like.
I don't get it, I already have the creature guide and vault. Yet it says they are not available yet! How come I was able to buy them a couple of weeks ago, also I live in the UK, which usually gets these things 2-4 weeks after the US!
I purchased the three guides and I can assure you that it is a great improvement in term of clarity. I think that this version will please a lot of players, especially the older ones like me who began 20 years ago (Time flies...). Good job guys. Can't wait for the next things to come.
