I recall that the people went about with pale and worried faces, and whispered warnings and prophecies which no one dared consciously repeat or acknowledge to himself that he had heard. A sense of monstrous guilt was upon the land, and out of the abysses between the stars swept chill currents that made men shiver in dark and lonely places.
- H.P. Lovecraft, "Nyarlathotep"

Oops, N/M. Misread the text; the Old Ones are for Arkham Horror.
Ah well; all the more reason for me to go!
@sepayne7l: Correct, though I was referring to the Great Old One cards mentioned in the text. I think it's a fair assumption that they will have new gameplay, but my hope is that they turn out to simply be alternate-art versions of cards yet to appear in a future AP or expansion.
Just registered a friend of mine, see you next Friday. Oh why, oh why couldn't it be this Friday... The bag will be much nicer than the bag we are using right now that's for sure.
Also hope that there will be a chance to somehow get those awesome items =) Feeling envious for those, able to make it to the event =)
Destrin, last year a couple of months after one of their events they put a few of their leftover loot bags up for sale on their website for $25 plus shipping. They probably won't advertise that too much BEFORE the event in order to encourage people to show up for it. IF they have any leftover they could go up for sale during the Thanksgiving sale (if they do that again) or at conventions.
Marth, the Cthulhu cards are domain cards, and so they don't affect gameplay.
Again, is there ANY news about making these must-have items available to those people who don't live in the US and can't make it to this event? I don't really want to rely on the potentially inflated Ebay market
I really hope the promotional cards we're supposed to get don't have unique gameplay. The best thing about LCG's is the fact that everyone can use whatever cards they want.
Looks like I'll have to buy these on ebay as I can't attend :(
Wow, those goods are looking cool.
Those domain markers look pretty darn cool.
