Night is Falling 5
Cadwallon: City of Thieves is just two weeks away!
Cadwallon: City of Thieves | Published 06 October 2010

The click of a door’s lock, the shuttering of a window, the soft and rhythmic mewing of a hungry stray cat... For the citizens of Cadwallon, these evening noises accompany the end to a day of honest work, and foreshadow the welcome arrival of sleep. For the thieves of Cadwallon, however, no warm beds await. For them, the sounds of the settling city are a symphony, calling them forth from their hideouts and inviting them yet again to their solitary dance. By the moon's light, they will shuffle quietly through alleys and across rooftops, gracefully slipping into windows to claim their prizes. By night, the city is theirs to command... and night is falling.

If you weren’t able to grab your copy at Gen Con ’10, you needn’t resort to burglary. Cadwallon: City of Thieves, a fast-paced board game of cunning thievery and ruthless skulduggery, is now only a few short weeks away!

In Cadwallon: City of Thieves, two to four players each control their own gang of four thieves, competing to amass the greatest haul of loot from the many carefully locked chests scattered about the board. This is no friendly competition, however, and there is little loyalty among thieves in Cadwallon...

The most successful players are as likely to claim their loot from the other gangs as they are to do the time-consuming legwork themselves. And always there is the Guild, directing the gangs from the shadows, and offering rich rewards to those who follow its will. But there is little time to waste; even the slow-witted militiamen will eventually raise the alarm... and woe be upon any thief who fails to creep away before the lawmen seal the district!

Also available soon are the Cadwallon: City of Thieves painted miniatures. Featured in two boxed sets of ten figures each, these miniatures are the perfect enhancement for your nightly less-than-legal excursions into Cadwallon.

I've not often awaited the arrival of a game with such eagerness as this (hey, the anticipation is part of the experience, yes?).

I think it's wrong to tease us. Also, is the Duke of Cadwallon available to buy?
