Savage warriors, the Lizardmen of the jungles of Lustria are vigilant in their fight to restore order to the world, but their enigmatic motivations make them uncertain and often dangerous allies. Meanwhile, the Vampire Counts, from their gods-forsaken castles and fortresses, lust after the power of the mortal races. It is this willful ambition that gives them their power over the dead, and those armies of Order that refuse to surrender to the Vampire Counts in life may come to serve them as mindless slaves in death.

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the upcoming release of March of the Damned, the next deluxe expansion for Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game! March of the Damned will bring new strategic depth to your deck-building experience when it hits store shelves this fall.

With 165 cards (3 copies each of 55 cards) consisting of new deck-building options for players of all factions, March of the Damned brings, as neutral forces, the mysterious danger of the jungle-dwelling Lizardmen and the foul dark arts of the Vampire Counts to Warhammer: Invasion. March of the Damned also introduces two new keywords, “Savage” and “Necromancy,” bringing a new level of strategy to your game.

“Savage” represents the single-minded vigilance of the Lizardmen, as they risk their very lives to restore order to the Old World. For the Vampire Counts, “Necromancy” is a vile power that lets them bring vanquished units back from the dead. When these two forces join the battle for the fate of the Old World, it will mean entirely new perils for six major factions.

Check out our detailed website for more information, including a short interview with James Hata in which he describes some his development goals. Then keep watching over the coming weeks as we preview cards from this exciting new expansion. This fall, the savage forces of the Lizardmen face off against the undead hordes of the Vampire Counts. Which side will you command?

Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game is a card game by Eric M. Lang in which 2 players develop their kingdoms and lay waste to their foes. Each side is comprised of either the forces of Order or the forces of Destruction as they seek to extend their empire to include the entire Old World. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Battle Pack expansions to the core game.

@curator   you are right, next time we gonna have some doubts, maybe we shall wait a bit more and trust in them.

@wraith428  neah is not that good, it cost 2 to get back in game so where is the profit?

 "When in Rome..." heh.

Just glad to see so many renewed hopes. Try to remember this moment the next time you feel any shred of doubt towards W'I future.

Seriously though, my first Warhammer army was Lizardmen (yeah I kinda got into the game late in my life), so do I really need to explain my feelings towards this announcement.

Vampire Counts aren't Chaos minions, they're just evil. I'm actually more surprised that the Slaan aren't ranged on the side of Order. Not terribly surprised, though.

Nice to see the Lizardmen enter the game, and I'm sure many will be happy to see the Vampire Counts as well.

Also glad to see the new distribution applies to this box.  I'm actually more inclined to buy a second box now than when I would've been forced to.  So glad they changed that.

Wait.  Are they getting their own capital boards?  It doesn't look like it...

Which is pretty lame IMO.

Undead! Bring them on. I'm glad the new collation format applies to box set as well.
Still got to buy a an extra core set and a couple Ulthuan btw, and they don't come cheap...
