- The Yuggoth Contract, Part One: Empty Sockets

The latest Asylum Pack for Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game is now on sale at you local retailer and at our webstore! The first chapter of the Yuggoth Contract cycle of expansions, Whispers in the Dark, introduces doomed bounty hunter Tyler Scindere, as well as the mysterious Red-Gloved Man, as well as the brand new 60-card per pack format.

Whispers in the Dark, as well as all of the remaining Asylum Packs in the Yuggoth Contract cycle, features three copies each of 20 new and unique cards to add to the Call of Cthulhu card pool. Whispers in the Dark also features new game mechanics involving shifting icons and purposeful insanity, as well as the first chapter in a new serial tale by Nate French.

In part one of this six-part story, Tyler will begin his descent into a mad, hidden world, made more difficult by the loss of his eyes. Tyler must find out who wanted his eyes and what they wanted them for. You can follow Tyler's story through all six Asylum Packs of this cycle of expansions.

Head to your local retailer today, and sign your name on the dotted line of the Yuggoth Contract!

Based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and his literary circle, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game takes two players deep into the Cthulhu Mythos where investigators clash with the Ancient Ones and Elder Gods for the fate of the world. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Asylum Pack expansions to the core game.

If you don't already, you should have large, framed versions of the stories as prizes! As it is I'm thinking of framing up the ones we get in packs, and having them in sequence on a wall as complete artwork in their own right, but the fold lines kinda ruin it.
