I’m excited to be able to tell WFRP fans that The Gathering Storm has finally arrived in our warehouse. I just checked them over and approved the shipment. So what does that mean? Now that it’s been approved, The Gathering Storm will start making its way to distributors – which means it will be available to players very soon!
Given this slight delay, I appreciate your patience and understanding – we wanted to make sure this first adventure for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay got off on the right foot, and I did not want to compromise the high quality and production values Fantasy Flight Games is known for. Once you get your hands on The Gathering Storm, I’m confident you and your players will agree that it was worth the wait.
The Gathering Storm is a complete campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. The story centres around a series of bizarre events that bring the heroes face-to-face with dangerous enemies, moral dilemmas, and the raw fury of nature.
In addition to providing many sessions of exciting adventure, the campaign guide provides detailed information on the town of Stromdorf and a number of its odd citizens. Colourful maps bring Stromdorf and the surrounding region to life. The Gathering Storm includes one full colour Campaign Book, more than 20 new Standard American (2 1/4" x 3 1/2") size cards (including actions, locations, and items), more than 20 new Mini American (1 5/8" x 2 1/2") size cards (including miscasts, wounds, talents, and insanities), six full colour maps & player handouts, more than 20 new NPC and enemy standups… and much more!
The Gathering Storm has it all. Death. Misery. Peril. Suffering. Disaster. And that’s just the weather.
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a roleplaying game that sets unlikely heroes on the road to perilous adventure, in the grim setting of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Players will venture into the dark corners of the Empire, guided by luck and Fate, and challenge the threats that others cannot or will not face.
Awesome! I'm starting my WFRP3e campaign this weekend. I guess by the time my players finish Eye for an Eye I will have this in my hands.
