Announcing The Highland, the latest expansion for Talisman
Talisman | Published 11 February 2010

Clouds enshroud the mountain’s peak.
Exhausted from the long ascent, you barely keep your grip as the stones beneath you give way and tumble perilously down the slope. But you still keep climbing…
…for the Highland beckons you!

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the upcoming release of The Highland, the latest expansion for Talisman Revised 4th Edition!

Legends say all magic in the land comes from an enchanted stream that flows from the tallest mountain. Atop the tallest peaks, the magical waters are at their most pure and potent, and the banks are littered with precious gems. But one must beware, for within the Highland dwells the feared Eagle King, guardian of the source of magic. Intruders and fortune-seekers will receive no mercy, for he has not forgotten that jewels stolen from him now adorn the Crown of Command itself!

Talisman: The Highland adds a new Region to the game for heroes to explore. A custom-fitted map board and over 100 new cards bring this mountainous realm vividly to life, while six brand-new characters, each represented with a superbly detailed plastic miniature, offer fantastic new playing experiences. Climb as high as you dare, and lay claim to the unimaginable wealth that awaits atop the tallest peak in the world of Talisman!

Watch our website in the weeks ahead as we offer glimpses of this exciting expansion, and this spring, be ready to answer the call of The Highland.

A final note: Talisman, Talisman: The Dungeon, and Talisman: The Reaper are back in stock. Head over to our webstore and grab your copies today!

Talisman is a classic board game of adventuring in which journeys through the lands in search of the powerful Crown of Command. Take control of one of 14 different characters from a powerful Troll to a magical Druid, and enter a beloved world of fantasy adventure!

Yes, it's going to be some time before the board has gotten all its outlying corner areas filled in!

I'm excited and pleased about this expansion set. Such a large infusion of new material is worth cheering about! April now seems like such a loooong way off (lol). I can wait another 7 or 8 weeks if I must. :)

PS: Add my voice to those who are willing to cross Hell or high water for a new & improved Timescape!

BTW, are there groups that do Talisman tournaments?

i live in Burbank,CA....i'd luv to get a group going if there isn't one...or invite a group to my comic book store, the Emerald Knights, which would be a great place to game....

Wow... I thought this expansion was going to be the final "?" box.   Regardless, I absolutely cannot wait.  They cannot print these expansions fast enough for me.  Heck, I just found a Talisman Board Game group... so bring them on!
