I might even drop her fight more. if she gets her hands on basically any double handed firearm, it might be a littlte unbalanced given her skill. Anyone else have more input?

I may be too conservative on this one, but in my eyes bumping inv's skill over 6 or lowering it below 3 is bad design. FFG originally created this frame of skills and never got out of it.
Also, In my opinion, having a limit of only 3 items is a huge drawback. But, provided by lucky draws, it can pay itself with Clue tokens. It's all about luck(I mean, real one, not the skill, printed at the investigator's sheet).
+2 evade won't help much, if items draw will be unlucky.
And the personal story. It suggest you to run around Arkham like crazy. By the time you could finish it - you'll prolly won't be needing those skill bonuses. And completion of this story will prolly affect negatively the entire group(if it's not 8 players game ofc, where there is always something about 1-3 investigators with nothing to do).

Skills: That was part of the intent though, to have a freakishly high skill level. If it's a balance isssue, I could drop it to 6.
And again, the items thing was part of the intent. It takes a lot of thought and planning for this character - it's strategic choices that make him (in my eyes) interesting.
And yes, the personal story is kind of absurdly hard - I wouldn't suggest or recommend passing it (unless things just happen to fall that way), but it has a very large reward, and the fail isn't bad (and may actually be good because you can rid yourself of the character).
The focus of this guy is strategic use. For some things, he's phenominal (for example, he'd rock Kingsport and Innsmouth), for others, he's not that good. And that what makes him interesting.

Whad'ya think about lowering his base speed to 6 and giving him fixed +1 speed skill?

yeap .. as MyNeighbourTrololo said .. she only transfers her FIGHT .. not the combat point .. so ull just transfer ur base atribut + ur skill / ally if u get one ..its really hard for her to do that .. but if she does .. she will become so powerfull .. and helpfull :D

After 2 weeks of no posting .. im back ... with 3 brand new creations :P ... here they are ..
1st one - i wanted to give time bomb some utility and make it bit more usefull or frequent , 'couse its not a item u may use in all your matches, plus, i wanted to make a cleaner guy ... sometimes some streets or locations are flooded of monsters and u cant go in and kill the easy ones and scape from the biggers to prevent the rising of the terror lvl. So this is what cames to my mind ..

2nd Idea.
This guy is a watchmaker .. its not so weird .. just a guy that cant b stoped ... i thought he would b very usefull ..

i didnt think anything about his special "Old Watch" but im open to any idea u could give me ...
3rd Idea.
I've always wanted to make a homeless for this game. A guy that really knows the map .. a guy that can move faster than others by using his knowledge of the streets .. and as a poor person he starts with no items, just his cigarettes and whisky and his faithfull companion Duke.

i didnt wrote they'r stories, or they'r own litte stories/missions , and as i said im open to any idea or suggestion u can give me .. i hope u try them and i appreciate everything u can reply .. thx !!

Here's my first try at some investigators. They're from the game Alan Wake which I found to be thematically appropriate ^_^
Please please PLEASE provide all the crit you'd like. I'd love to hear what you guys think. I'm personally a little wobbly on the items, so if you have ideas for something that you think is a little more balanced, please let me know.




A quick note (I'm in a hurry now and I do not usually comment on Investigators): Shine a Light special ability. This is no special ability at all, sorry, it's in the rules (clarified after Gathanothoa was out: investigators aren't forced to pick up all the clues in a location). Other investigators are rather off balance (too strong for their special abilities); on the other hand the AO is pretty weak (you boost a little Cultists and Maniacs, but they still remain 1 toughness monsters, so they can be killed by Granny Orne with her purse ::laughter::). As per the tomes issue... if you don't discard them, then what? Are you allowed to read them multiple times? It's not clear (and reading ad libitum King in Yellow or Eltdown Shards can be a game killer. Not to mention that a 13 doomer AO has to be very tough, otherwise his very long doom track implies a very easy vicory by seals.
