In other news, I've not been feeling well, so I've not done much but maitain the Kickstarter project.

Awesome! I admit, i was entirely unaware of the background/universe similarities between Captain America & Tannhauser until i saw the film recently...during the movie, all i could think of when seeing the bad guy played by the guy who played Elrond & Agent Smith was "Heizinger!"

WIll it be a direct Captain America port, or a similar guy? Would be cool to use the Zip Kelly Incursion mini (a Union Airborne Division/AAA version of Captain America):

Right now I'm looking at the new hero clix Cap Ap and Howling Commandos, plus villans, so a direct port at the moment, but it will be a while before I get much done, so I might change the names and make a new character, but Steve Rogers' story is hard to top.

And that's a nice fig, but I don't paint, so I tend to stick with pre-paints. Those do look like broomhandel mausers, weird huh.

Yeah I always thought Hugo Weaving would make a great Heizinger, for that Tannhauser movie they'll never make.

Hey Miah, the cards for Cap look great. Your ideas are similar to mine for the character. Some possible changes:

Stat Card

To be consistent with the Union characters, and Cap's personality, I'd give him a higher Mental value in the last row. Similar to other superheroes, Cap has incredible resolve, which is only strengthened by adversity.

Tokens

Vibranium Shield: My idea for the shield would allow any character to pick it up since there's no real reason why the shield could not be equipped by a normal human. However, other characters would not be able to use the shield as well as Cap, so maybe it would just be a normal 4 dice weapon for them, with a weaker defense bonus, and no option to throw it. The weaker defense bonus would also limit the shield's effectiveness if Asteros ever managed to pick it up... okay, its not that likely to happen, but it is still kind of fun to think about Asteros with his Stamina Pack and Cap's Vibranium Shield in the place of Labrys! =P

His Gun: Maybe give him a Thompson SMG for his Combat Pack and/or Stamina Pack. I do not think he used one in the film, but he's been shown with a Thompson in some of his other incarnations, such as the Ultimates version.

Special Rules / Bonus

I'm sure you already have it in mind but Cap should have the "always armed" special rule that Asteros and Natalya have: Cap is always treated as if he had a hand-to-hand weapon.

I also like the idea of Cap as an inspiration for his fellow troopers, so another possibility is an ability which raises the Mental value of Union figures on his path, either as a permanent passive or temporary one-shot ability. Perhaps it could be a bonus token since his packs are already full, or it could be another special ability for Cap. Both Asteros and Natalya have non-token special abilities in their rules, so I think it'd be appropriate for Cap to have one as well.
