Is it real? Some guys in Hong Kong have a descent 2?

I think it is some kind of joke... somehow it doesnt seems real to me. Where are fatigue tokens, wound tokens...

Descent: Journeys in the dark Second Edition Chinese Edition

Maybe FFG send a sample copy to Hong Kong publisher, so they can translate all text into Chinese. Because it says chinese edition will release right after english edition release on left bottom of this image.

Well I just read somewhere that if the game is at this moment still "at the printer" it will take atleast 6 more weeks before I can get it ... pbb more since i am from europe.

So what other games can you guy suggest for me ( I know its not on topic but it sorta has something to do with descent).

I checked out gears of war and the strongest point for me its soloable. Are there any other games like this from ffg? And in the same style as descent (dungeon crawling)?

It really looks like a mean joke from FFG.

Why are we not getting any news about a game that is ready and finished?

I'm starting to think that one of the sources where I asked was right - we will not see this game before GenCon 2012. Maybe we will get it in 3Q 2012 or even just before Christmas 2012.

Cheers

PS. Thanks Kerl for the news and if You will have any new stuff share it with us, please. Especialy the photos.

You should go with Gears of War, or Death Angel. Technically, DA is not a proper dungeon crawling games, but it simulates the exploration of a Space Hulk very well. It has a good replayability, it's cheap, and some expansion to further delve into battle are already available :-)

We have dragged Reason from her throne and set in her place the Empress of Dreams [Liber Endvra]

About estimated date... It doesn't say anything in the forum. And I check forum again, OP take out the photo, I fear there will no more photo until FFG has official Descent 2nd review.

One more new stuff, someone say the play time approximately one hour for one quest, and you can finish smell or medium adventure in 1~2 hours.

I don't know what is smell or medium adventure mean, maybe there will be several scenarios, and some scenarios include 1~2 quest.

Try:

Dungeon Run (dunno if soloable)

D&D The Legend of Drizzt or Castle Ravenloft or Wrath of Ashardalon (soloable)

Runebound (soloable - Not dungeon crawl but land raoming adventure game with quests and character progression)

DungeonQuest (soloable)

 I think its less controll.

I think they are using the same system as in manion of maddness with selecting a story and then the consequences

Why do you think this?

Want to use more expansion monsters in a RtL campaign?  Download my dungeon level loadout sheet.  Want more varied and interesting abilities for the heroes?  Have a look at my Craft cards!  After a more thematic Android experience?  Check out Android: The Directors Cut.  Tired of the same old plots?  Try The Directors Cut - Alternate Plots.  Want a different way to play BSG: Pegasus?  Look at Pegasus: Razor Cut.
