I think that the warlock will become one of my favorites...
He begins with 2 spells
At the start of his turn, he gains his full completement of spells according to his current craft
And whenever you complete a warlock quest card, you may choose to take a purchase card instead of a talisman for your reward
i am thinking right away about mules and water bottles that are more difficult to get
Sweet ! A tiny expansion box. That game is definitely one of the games that need the most more content. Lookin to it.
My Wishlist : A Game of Thrones / Ad Astra / BattleLore / Chaos in the Old World / Conan / Dust / Middle-Earth Quest / Runewars / Starcraft / Tannhäuser / Tide of Iron / War of the Ring - You love these games ? Try to convince me to buy them ! I still hesitate...
I see that they have use only 3 characters on the front art box and the leprechaun is missing. He is also missing as a art on the back of the box.
It's the same as the reaper..
I wonder how the art of the leprechaun is. I hope he has some good abilities
But i don't want to complain because i like the front box..

The teleport ability is actually the best ability he have..
He has no battle skills nor spell gaining skills.( he only start with 2 spells)
I hope that the 4th revised leprechaun has some more interesting abilities.
I hope we see something soon
yes, it is. I remember I was playing my Sorceress against him (my old friend from primary school). I won it, but only because I had Golden Statue. Leprechaun (in Polish Edition named as Kobold) was high in S, while I was good in C. He always was winning battles (without needing to roll a die), and I always was winning psychic combats. I won because I was stealing from him Golden Statue, he was losing a life. Then he was attacking me at CoC, and was getting Statue instead of 1 life. Yes, generally Leprechaun, might be strong character, especially, if they won't make it weaker like it was in 2nd ED (I mean in old Dungeon Rules he wasn't able to use this ability in Dungeon, now all movement effects are working regardless of the board).

I can imagine that if someone is good at rolling 6's and there is a fountain of strength etc on the board, then you are lucky.
or if you are in the middle region and rolling 6's then can you hit the temple..etc
It let's me think about the elf. The elf has also no battle nor spell skills and can warp through the woods. And i must say that he is good..even if he has no combat skills.
But do you think that the leprechaun needs a other special skill or is he good as he is.
I have never play with him because he don't exist in third edition...
Wow, is that art from the Polish edition?
So strange. This is the leprechaun I know and love:

Yes, all arts from Polish edition of Talisman 2nd Edition (named as Magia i Miecz - even now, while all other international editions are "Talisman: The Magical Quest Game", our is Talisman Magia i Miecz) were different, IMHO a lot better than original ones. And of course except of Characters, cards were B&W. Most (if not all) translated cards are at Sam's page: talisman.clift.org/sam/ --> Second Edition --> Expansions --> Polish 2nd Edition. Polish edition was much harder than English one (Maiden was giving only 1 Craft, not 2; Gypsy were able to take only unused spells, not every spell after being cast), unfortunatelly Sam didn't translated all cards properly (example of that Gypsy). Also we had additional expansion - The Cave. Examples of cards from Timescape. Tell me, which images are better?

Polish ones are better IMO. But maybe I think that, because I'm playing Polish edition since almost 15 years, and I cannot think about other edition than it. Later, we also had a copy of Magia i Miecz, named as Magiczny Miecz (even normal edition and Special edition), in which in order to win the game we were forced to gather two items, not one - Talisman - and also one of them was available in last (among 3 + "something as Inner Region" Regions) Region. An the Beast could have S and C equal of 16. If anyone interested, You may check also: www.talismanisland.com/worldtour.htm

About those timescape cards...
The color ones are better...( But if the skafander was in color, then he won from the combat enviro suit..
Nemomon:
( about the leprechaun art
Wich one do you find better then?
Of course Polish ones. Like I said, I'm playing black and white MiM since 15 years, so I love my arts by default, because of habit. But not only, while Talisman arts have "fairy" images, like from fairy tales (or drunken eventually after good drugs man), Polish are more realistic. Most of arts looks like from Grimm Brothers's books - instead of being scary, they're funny. You must have big bad luck to afraid one of those beings from the cards. In polish edition, You could afraid some of them.

Yeah, i must say that even they are black&white, they are more realistic( as you said), like they are coming from a book or something..
( to get on topic..)
I wonder if the Frostmarch expansion will contain some raider cards...
I wonder, if it will contain some cards which will start to affect starting values. Monk would be really hapy, if each time he could be able to add +5 to his S in battle..
