I personally find it easier to use dice for keeping track of credits and counters and everything.
I use the counters, but I just flip over recurring credits when they're used to the advancement token side as opposed to tossing them back in the pool, and I like to use generic tokens on each of the click tracker spaces and just slide them off when I take an action, as it's much clearer then as to how many you have.
The click tracker is a little confusing because there are so many ways youcan use it. I do try, though and I'm still trying to figure out what the best way is to do it.
I use all of the other tokens though. I don't have the problem with the credits that others have. I especially like the conveniene of turning credits into advancement tokens just by flipping them. I like the look and feel of the cardboard chits and I'm too lazy to tote glass beads around with my games. The cardboard fits nicely into mini ziplock bags and they make no noise when you rattle them around.
