I love the card, don't get me wrong. I'm just concerned about having to use 2 resources from just 1 hero's pool for 1DEF and 1HP. Seems it won't cut it…

You already have 3 copies of Steward of Gondor and Light of Valinor, and "3 copies" (counting Minstrell) of Song of Kings, that should be enough to draw one. Also the thing I don't like is that all of these attachments are unique, so you can't play more than 1. Once you get a, for example, Light of Valinor in play then searching for more attachments won't be beneficial…

Hope it makes sense, thanks for the suggestion!

I don't totally agree here.  First of all, using Master of Forge to increase the chance to pull out a unique Attachment can let you put less copy of the unique Attachment in your deck.  Even you still put three copies of a unique Attachment in the deck and you do draw one early in your game, using Master of Forge to pull extra copies out is good to minimize the chance that you waste your one draw per turn on drawing a duplicate unique Attachment, so as to increase the chance to draw a card that is useful to you.  So it is still beneficial to search for additional copies of a unique Attachment after you get one.

Yup. Even if the Master of the Forge is pulling extra copies of your unique attachments (don't forget he can also help draw the Ancient Mathoms), it will help you cycle through your deck faster and you can burn them on Eowyn anyway. Plus, he does have 1 Defense (two if he's getting the bonus from Arwen) so in a pinch he can help block those small, but annoying enemies.

For some quests I mulligan till I get a Northern Tracker, for example Emyn Muil or Conflict at the Carrock, and for some others I need more allies (like Haldir or Gleowine) fast like playing Khazad-dûm.

Uh, you can only mulligan once.  It sounds like you are mulliganing until you get the hand you want, which isn't allowed by the rules.  If you are only mulliganing once (which isn't how this is worded), then what happens when you don't get your Northern Tracker which you seem to rely on?

Good luck when you try to quest through any of the Heirs of Numenor expansion, I fear you are going to need it. I have a Noldor deck (Glofindel [Sp], Elrohir, Elladan) that performed very well all the way through until Heirs. The lands of Elendil offer no solace for Elves in the Third-Age…

First of all sorry for the delay posting here. I haven't played in a while since I became a father for the second time a couple of weeks ago…

I see your points here. I will give it a try, although I don't feel good about it at the moment…

No, I don't mulligan until I get cards. That's why I fail the quests sometimes. But having 3 copies of a card and 1 mulligan should be enough to get what you need almost every time…

Here's how the deck looks with my modifications: (Remember, only one core set.)

Light of Valinor x 3

Unexpected Courage

Miruvor

Elrond's Counsel x 3

A Test of Will x 2

Hasty Stroke x 2

The Galadhrim's Greeting

Lore-

Warden of Healing x 3

Master of the Forge x 2

Rivendell Minstrel x 2

Gildor Inglorion

Haldir of Lorien

Gleowine

Henamarth Riversong

Asfaloth x 2

A Burning Brand

Daeron's Runes x 3

Secret Paths

Leadership-

Steward of Gondor x 2

Sneak Attack x 2

Neutral-

Gandalf x 3

Song of Wisdom

Song of Kings

I built this deck and it's a lot of fun. I started with the first scenario in the core set and that went down easy. Journey down the Anduin not so much. Maybe I got a bad draw, but I just didn't have an answer for the Hill Troll. I tried to wait it out, but eventually I wasn't able to wait any longer and once he engaged me, it was all but over. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for the deck!

Glad to hear you had fun with the "One Core Set" version that was posted here. I love the deck, I hope I can play the last quests asap…

I will most likely be getting a second copy of the core set soon. Have you tried this deck in mp? I'm wondering how well it works alongside a tactics deck.

Yes, in fact I also usually play a 2-man game with a friend. The other deck I have built uses Gloin, Elrohir and Elladan. Both work great together, usually this deck takes care of blocking the ugliest creatures and questing and the other deck of heavy fighting…

Sorry. I am having a hard time following. Does the original post contain the updated deck or is the deck that "gatharion" created the updated one?

Thanks!
