I had Smashup tied to my MM order foolishly thinking it would release prior to X-Wing.  Once I got the news about an October release for Smashup, I called MM to remove that item from my order.  Anytime I modify an online order, I immediately treat it as "off the rails" regardless of what entity I'm dealing with. It did take a second phone follow-up to insure the order shipped, but everyone i spoke with was very friendly and reasonably helpful.  I got the shipping notice today and am looking forward to the delivery!

Just got my Starters today.  They arrived around 7:00 pm.  Now if Red Dragon Inn Allies would just get released my expansions could ship.  Sigh.

I ordered from MM and I will do so again.

Thanks,

Duncan

That's the odd thing about it. They cancelled my order and issued a refund within an hour of requesting it, yet I couldn't get them to adjust my order through repeated contacts over a two week period.

Oh, I failed to mention that the Dice didn't get taken of the order list UNTIL it shipped. Since I got the refund, I just assumed it was all taken care of. And when I got my order, the invoice had writing on it indicating the change. So, my guess is that they print out orders and modify them by hand when changes are made.

I got my order and my wife had tons of fun punching all the pieces out of the cardboard while I sleeved the cards and assembled to maneuver dials. Can't wait to play!

Yeah bro, I get it. They worked well for you. I don't need any more salt on the wound of how well things went for you, and how poorly they went for me (and others, apparently). My intent was not to trash MM, it was to indicate to the other fellows in my situation (and any other lurkers in the same situation) that just because you talked to someone who told you they were going to remove the dice and ship, doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen (without substantial delay), and that they may (probably) need to follow up again to ensure shipment.

I got my pre-order yesterday:  3 starters, 1 X-Wing, 1 TIE and 3 Y-Wings.  Gonna have to get another TIE and an Advanced…

If it's okay, I'd like to compliment the folks at Coolstuffinc.com.  I had originally preordered a single starter, back before the expansions where listed.  When the expansions finally appeared, I decided to make an additional order.  I could have cancelled my preorder and combined everything into one order, but I didn't want to "go to the back of the line" - I know that companies like CSI fill orders on a "first in - first out" basis.

Well, in my single box, I got ALL of my stuff from both orders!  Since the total of my order was over $100, shipping was free, and CSI refunded my shipping cost on my first preorder.  What a class act!

You can teach monkeys to fly better than that!

Hmmm… I haven't gotten my MM order yet, but I also haen't gotten a Paypal refund for the dice. In retrospect, if I don't get the extra dice that's fine; if I DO like the game, I'll likely get a second starter a bit later, anyway.

Thus do I undo all Gordian Knots!

Listed as Out for Delivery by UPS…  Coming from MM.  So right on time.  If UPS goes according to past performance, they'll be getting dropped off within 15min of me getting home from work.

Picked up my stuff at the LGS (Dice Age Games in Vancouver, WA) both Saturday and Tuesday as his order was split between two distributors.  I try not to order online as I much prefer to shop at the place that gives me gaming tables to play on and other people to play than at an online retailer.  It's worth not having the discount, at least to me.

So far I've picked up 2 Starter boxes, an extra X-Wing expansion pack (had to have Wedge), 2 extra TIE expansions, a TIE Advanced, and 3 Y-Wings.  Going to grab 2 more TIE expansions tonight and another TIE Advanced.  Probably another X-Wing as well.

Have played 4 games so far and am really appreciating the depth to the game.  Simple to learn but not going to be easy to master with all the options for pilots and upgrades!

Loving it so far!

FINALLY!  I can't believe it takes 5 business days for UPS to ship from the Midwest to AZ.  But, at long last my miniature market order arrived.  At one point, I had canceled one of the TIE expansions and added another starter instead. When my order came today they forgot to take out the extra TIE expansion.  I called them and asked them if I should return it and they told me to keep it with their complements (probably not worth the price of s/h to have it back, but I appreciated it nonetheless).  In the midst of opening everything now and having a blast!  Have a long play session with some freinds scheduled for Saturday… can't wait to give it a try.

That was one reason I stopped ordering from The Warstore…last time I ordered was shortly after I moved to Washington.  10 business days via Priority Mail to get the order out here to me.  I thought that was pretty ridiculous.

Yay! My Miniature Market order came today! Once the kids are in bed, I'll bust out the goods! I'm so excited!

Grr! They messed up my order. I ordered one of each product in May, but added a Y-wing and core set in August. Well, I only got the first order today. When I checked the website, I saw that the other two items were slated for pick up at the store. What the kriff? Why would I say I'd pick up some of it and have the rest shipped to Arizona? Oh well. At least I got some product today. I'll call them tomorrow and I'm sure it will be fine.

Huzzah! Core, X-Wing, and Vader came in. To go with the core, TIE, and Y-Wing I got at my LGS. Now all I need is to get a play surface so they don't slide around like they did last night.  Stupid coffee table.
