I have take a look at the Black Tower custom expansion from Carsten Both  for 2th edition at Talisman Island, and i must say that it looks very interesting !

If FFG makes the spaces in the tower also like a Chimney room, Sarcophagus, Gallery room(from the old wizard) Guard rooms, that would be very interesting !

It's worth to take a look there

I've look into this expansion, very well done and lots of interesting ideas like you mention before. If taken as is we would need the Timescape expansion to play it though since there is a lot of spaces pointing to it 

Would you prefer this type of single level expansion or the dragon 3rd edition multilevel type?

Talking of the feared Timescape expansion. People who have the 2nd Edition expansion will soon be able to play with 4th Revised when I post a little something...

But as i have wrote in a other post of me here in this topic, i hope that the tower will be larger, because the board of 4th edition is larger than the 3th edition board. That would be very cool, and then you are not so quick at the topWith 2 or 3 floors off course

The Dragon Rider is a nice character to add it to the Dragon expansion.

I really hope that FFG make a miniature from it

Getting a +3 if you have a pet dragon(follower)

Since the board is much bigger as you pointed out, why not have an extra level or two! So let's hope FFG will go for 4 or 5 level and lots of interesting spaces and a very huge and mean dragon at the top!

Well not totally because I think that timescape should be publish again and hopefully with a very tone down science fiction theme, has I've point out before, it could rely more on the "time" aspect and much less on the "science fiction" theme. the "time" could be from medievial times going backward to the stone age.

Well, for the minute I have posted what I have called the Timescape Upgrade to the Expansions page of Talisman Island.

A Polish user Arkon remade the expansion for the clone game Magiczny Miecz (Magical Sword) and I thought the board was so nice I asked if I might translate it for use by English speakers.

As Timescape only has one card that is used in other decks, I figured that people who have the expansion would be able to use their 2nd Edition Timescape with a small addition. I've added a Revised 4th Edition style Warp Gate Spell and a Medi-Kit Timescape Purchase card. Using Arkon's templates I translated the board and Data Sheet and packaged it up.

Whilst I am not particularly a fan of the expansion, I think it is a reasonable addition, though I would prefer technology in Talisman to be limited to Steam Power or Clockwork.

The Timescape is like Marmite... you either love it or hate it!

 A lot of ressentment come from the fact that it goes way beyond "steam power and clockwork" as you mention, but it also probably appeal to certain players who didn't have "twilight emporium" "starcraft"  or "ad astra" for their science fiction fix back then.

Anyway, thanks to you for hosting so many fan-made expansion  for us the talisman community
