My biggest complaint is that there was no communication and they would not answer my emails.

If they were upfront with the expected delivery time, then I would be cool.  They stated orignally 3-5 business days……

I've ordered my miniatures for Cool Stuff Inc before, 4 business days was the most I ever waitied.

 I'm in Canada, and Miniature Market are my go-to guys for this kind of stuff. Where do they say 3-5 business days to Canada? That's a new one for me…

 My 2 cents, I've ordered tons of stuff from miniature market and have never had any issues. I normally receive my items 2-3 days after placing my order without any problems.

that being said, I will never use coolstuffinc again. I recently placed an order from miniature market but they were sold out of TIE advanced models, so I purchased them from coolstuffinc instead…bad idea! It took 2 weeks to receive my order and I only live about 10 hours from their store. I could have waited a few days for MM to get them in stock and still got them a week before coolstuffinc.

Not exactly true… 90% of the time, it will be received within 2 weeks (10 business days). When I order from China, yes, 3-4 weeks. From the US and to the US, usually 2 weeks it has reached it's destination.

Now, to the OP, there are a TON of Canadian stores to order from, why order from the States? With shipping cost included (and the wait you've had), unless it's a huge order, you're not sure of saving any money.

If I would have ordered from Miniatures Market, with shipping, my order of 2 core sets plus one of each expansion would have costed me 20$ more. Plus duties, if any.

If you are trying to save a nickel, you're more scrooge than most people. I ordered from germangames.com, and even though the prices are a bit higher than Miniature Market, the shipping to Canada is always 8$.

Using Canada post to ship to the states, they usually get it in around a week and a half to two weeks which is around the 10 business days that is the expected delivery time for the cheap shipping service, which is the same amount of time it takes for me to receive goods from the states which is sent via the USPS on their cheap service… I don't know why you have this experience with Canada Post because I never ever ever have… are you sure this didn't just happen one time during a postal strike or something because I can't possibly see how it always takes you a month shipping time to get 3 hours down the road all the time…. I'm calling shenanigans on you on that one…

I have ordered 50+ things so it just isn't one or 2 things and its not just me Canada post has a horrible reputation on other game forums as well such hcrealms and the axis and allies ones…. and I said 50percent of the time its a week or two 50 percent of the time its 3-4weeks, while you may have good experiences its clear your ill informed on the overall reputation when you deal with alot of stuff like this you learn stuff like popularcollections, canada post, hotz artworks.com etc have bad reputations regarding certain things and are by no means isolated incidents.  Shenanigans haha, the various threads complaining about canada post across the web say differently and I have a feeling that you probably don't know what your talking about.

 Dude I preordered one of everything from a retailer in New York, I live in California, at the end of August and am barely getting it delivered today. While I do understand wanting communication back and forth waiting for 10 business days is hardly bad business. Getting your stuff 3-4 weeks after the product was available in stores is something worth complaining about.

This thread is making people heated. Don't mess with Miniature Market or Canada Post or people around here will ruin your day.

Too bad most of the best posts were deleted.

I use miniature market all the time and I live in Nova Scotia. Takes about 14 business days every time I order. They are great.

I know I can be a little harsh, but that guy blew a gasket over the speed of mail service in canada and he doesn't even work for them.

 lol I must have missed all that since I didn't look back here till now it was probably directed at me, but really any CANADIAN knows how bad canada post is for someone who isn't even canadian to have a nerd rage temper tantrum is a very small insecure man.
