Fantasy Flight isn't the publisher, Nexus Games is; FFG is merely the American distributor.....;-)

It doesn't have to have dragons and elves to be a proper Fantasy Flight product. Personally, I find being in command of Napoleon's armies to be a completely extravagant fantasy in its own right. He's by far my favorite warlord of all time.

If anything, there's a more legitimate claim to be had that Battles of Napoleon isn't flighty enough. :P

"Truth has power. And if we all gravitate toward similar ideas, maybe we do so because those ideas are true…written deep within us. And when we hear the truth, even if we don't understand it, we feel that truth resonate within us…vibrating with our unconscious wisdom. Perhaps the truth is not learned by us, but rather, the truth is re-called…re-membered…re-cognized…as that which is already inside us."   Peter Solomon, The Lost Symbol

Flintloque and Slaughterloo are fantasy Nap. War games.  If leading Wererat Highlanders is your thing or fighting Zombie Russians or Leading Elven French are your thing look for these games.  Give me a good Napoleonic War Game any day I'm just glad it does not have 10000 figures like most minature games.  Keep up the good work and keep it historical.  Thanks

I think FFG are astute enough to realise this era is anything but fantasy and keep it so.

This is a 'Top Shelve' game and not one for the unclean masses
