If FFG is putting new stuff out under the Android name then I think there is now a lot of good solid hope that there is more to come for the board game.
I'm very excited about this news.

I don't read novel often but I will pick this up.

 Support is support, right?

I look at the boards and I see a lot of debate on the director's cut versions and other variants. What I realized is that the game has to have a pretty enthused fanbase for that kind of support, both in design and debate about what changes each player likes or dilikes. I'm sure the novel will sell pretty well among them. With the Christmas sale, I was worried FF was planning on dumping Android, but maybe they were trying to spread it to newcomers in preparation for an expansion or other products.

I just saw the news article on Print on Demand material and my first thought was Android expansion!!  Hoping that new cards, mysteries and personal stories are coming our way!

 I am hoping for the exact same! 

 I'm really looking forward to the novel - I haven't been able to pickup a copy of the game (yet!)  but I have read so much about the game that I am sold on the setting and I love the idea of a prose story exploring and expanding on the Android setting.
