Need Event Tiles

We have lost our event tiles!  Our puppy ran off with the bag we had them in and we are finding randonly chewed tiles all over the house.  We have the first edition of the game.

Is there anyway to buy replacement tiles?  The new print of the game looks really different.

If FFG themselves don't do it then the best place to try is probably Sophisticated Games - they may have some bits they could use.

With rugby, its not the winning that counts but the taking apart

You could try emailing customer service via this site. In the past they have posted out replacement game parts, even for those that dogs have eaten (yes it's true!).

However as the game is the old version, they may no longer have the parts. Still, it's worth an email.

The alternative to buying a new set or making your own would be to make some kind of distribution chart, rolling dice against this instead of drawing random tiles.

In the base game there are 23 tiles:

3 X hiding tiles

3 X Friendship tiles

3 X travelling tiles

3 X fighting tiles

6 X Next Event tiles

2 X Ringbearer moves 1 space into the dark

1 X move two spaces into the dark or Eye

1 X group discard 3 cards or next Event

1 X group discard a card, a shield and a life token or next Event.

If you have the Sauron bag you may also use the dark tiles and the 4 Sauron tiles not mentioned here (but I don't recommend it, unless you never want to win)

Dog eating FFG component

This is a user submitted pic to FFG customer service explaining that their dog ate their components.
