I've been tuned for a while now.  How about an update on this matter?  A little something to chew on?  Any news is appreciated.

I think you get more answers if you contact ffg directly through their email, I don't believe they keep a very close eye on the ToI threads.

UPDATE Here is the response I got back from FFG regarding any new info about ToI

As is our policy, we do not announce or solicit new products until they are at the printers so we have a reasonable idea as to when they will be on store shelves.
However, I can tell you that there certainly is something new for TOI that you will hear about and see quite soon.

I sure hope it's not  "Map Expansion Pack # 2 " - all the mapboards from Days of the Fox!

Just kidding; sorry, I couldn't resist.

Bring on the Russians before I wind up in an old folks home!

Young, Rodger W., Private, 148th Infantry, 37th Infantry Division (the Ohio Buckeyes) born Tiffin, Ohio, 28 April 1918 died 31 July 1943, on the island of New Georgia, Solomons, South Pacific, while singlehandedly attackingdestroying an enemy machine-gun pillbox. His platoon had been pinned down by intense fire from this pillbox Private Young was wounded in the first burst. He crawled toward the pillbox, was wounded a second time but continued to advance, firing his rifle as he did so. He closed on the pillbox, attackeddestroyed it with hand grenades, but in so doing he was wounded a third timekilled.
His boldgallant action in the face of overwhelming odds enabled his teammates to escape without loss; he was awarded posthumously the Medal of Honor.

Its just got to be a box expansion. They've obviously been behind the 8 ball, stopping after normandy, with M44 and every else going all guns on covering the entire war.

This just gives me a warm , fuzzy feeling in my tummy.  Oh wait...maybe thats the beer.

Just noticed this potential update thread. I sure hope its the Eastern Front. That would seriously get cycled on my kitchen table.

They're killin' me...

I got so tired of waiting for something new that I went out and bought a second copy of everything.

It's cruel and unusual punishment of the highest order.

My prediction is for the Pacific. That's what I'd do, if I were in charge of marketing, to ride the wave of popularity of HBO's new series. Plus, it would allow them to release a new big box starter set, with Marines and Japanese. They need a new starter anyways to address errata in the rulebook(s) and on certain cards, IMHO.

THey don't have to follow the Geneva convention. Just remember; after Viet-Nam, Napalm was suddenly against the RULES, according to the Geneva convention. Now we have fire bombs. Same thing....Different name. 94% gas , 6% dishsoap....Just for the sticky

before the end of the year. WE WILL have an expansion...I am sure....And yes i've seen napalm...ER i mean fire bombs.!

 START THE PURPLE!
