Does anyone have or played recently the 80s Games Workshop edition of this game? What are some of the main differences? Or were the components just upgraded? Thanks for any info.

From what I remember from an old BGG thread, Derek Carver (the original designer of Warrior Knights, GW edition) mentioned that his center piece for the game was the Assembly...which was 'shunted' aside as a subgame in the reprint. All in all...I remember getting the impression that the new game is a tighter Euro hybrid when compared to its Ameritrash daddy.
What more can be said then...it's a Corey Konieczka game. Just man up the Influence limit and enjoy!
